Taffy took one of Arcana's hooves between hers and squeezed it gently as they snuggled. "Ah'm a very lucky pony, to have met you, Arcy." She tilted her head back to look up at Arcana. "Ya don't mind me callin' ya Arcy, do ya?"
"Aw, don't worry, there'll be time for all that later," Taffy said, noticing Arcana's sigh. She trotted over and gave him a quick kiss, took the towel off her head, and grinned. "Lead on, Sir!"
Arcana opened the door and led them both to the elevator. He pressed the button and saw it was the elevator that was out of order that opened, he smiled at Taffy and said, "Has anypony ever told you that you're amazing?"
Taffy blushed and smiled back, "Aw, t'was nothin' really, but thank you though." She gave him a kiss on the cheek as she stepped into the elevator.
"So're you," Taffy said, giving him a friendly nudge. She pressed the button for the lobby, and the elevator started moving.
Taffy smiled and nuzzled Arcana a bit, this time remembering to stop before the door opened to avoid any embarrassment.
Taffy walked up to the bar with Arcana. "Hi there, c'n we see a menu please?" She asked the bar pony. "Um, you mean this one?" The mare asked, pointing a hoof at the large menu hanging behind the bar. Taffy blushed a little. "Uh, yeah..."
Arcana chuckled and looked at the menu. Knowing he has a concert soon, he decided to keep it simple for him. "I'll just have some water and the simple sandwich, please?" he asked the bar pony.
Taffy nodded. "Ah'll have the same; watercress sandwich for me please." The bar pony nodded and set about preparing the sandwiches; the bar wasn't very busy at this time of day. "So," Taffy said, turning to Arcana "Have you had any very special someponies that knew about your... condition before?"
"Yeah," Arcana admitted, "but she didn't want to do anything with me as a mare. She said it got too weird." He said downtrodden.
"Aw," Taffy draped a foreleg over Arcana's shoulder and gave her a friendly squeeze. "Her loss; Ah'm sure we won't be making the same mistake." She lowered the hoof as their sandwiches arrived. "Thanks," She said, giving the bar pony a smile and a hoofful of bits. "Um, we're staying at the hotel; would it be alright if we took these to our room?" The mare thought for a second. "I don't see why not. I can't let you take the plates through, I'll have to put them in a bag; is that ok?"
