Taffy nodded at the bar pony and then picked up the sandwich bag in her mouth. "Sall we head ack uhstairs?" She asked Arcana, around the mouthful of bag.
With both the lifts now working, they seemed to arrive a lot quicker when called, and Taffy and Arcana were back at their room in next to no time. Taffy dropped the bag on the table, retrieved her sandwich from it, and sat on the sofa to eat it. "So, c'n ya tell me a little bit more about your home?" She asked Arcana between bites.
Arcana took some bites of his sandwich before answering. "Are you asking about my family or my neighborhood?"
Taffy pondered that for a second. "Well, Ah meant your neighbourhood, but I s'ppose your family is an important part of home too..."
Arcana took a couple more bites of his sandwich. "Well, I live in the southern end of Los Pegasus, in the suburbs," he said. "It's probably one of the quieter areas of that city, which I like."
Taffy smiled and nodded, "quiet's good; Ah appreciate noise and excitement as much as the next pony, but home should be a place t' relax."
"I'm sorry, but I'm starting to get my pre-show nerves. You're helping though." Arcana said as he cuddled Taffy.
"Ah'm glad to be of service," Taffy responded with a smile. "Would it help if we headed down there a bit early? We could hang around backstage until you have to go on?"
"I don't think it would help," Arcana said as he continued cuddling Taffy. "But we'll go in about an hour."
Taffy smiled languidly; Arcana's kisses still made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside. She held him close, content to spend the next hour like this, tangled in each other's hooves.
Arcana held Taffy close in a snuggle, nuzzling her neck. After a while, he got up and stretched. He seemed very relaxed and then he opened the door with magic.
