Hmm, a good name for a Pony town that houses widely known scholars of magic could be made from the town "Zeal" Though I don't see how, the only thing that comes to mind is Veal, and cow meat is not Pony meat. Besides, who names a town Veal anyway? That's rather morbid.
Another hint, since it's been a while: Gallopmere is named after a kingdom that came under the attack of the undead. Andalusian Heights is named after a stage in a racing game which is after a real mountain.
Agh, I never played any snowboard racing games besides Snowboard Kids. Haha, I'm content with one correct I guess.
My Google Senses tell me that Gallopmere is, in fact, Gallowmere from the 1998 Playstation One game MediEvil where the player must save the fictional English Kingdom as Sir Daniel Fortesque against the evil sorcerer Zarok. Is that right? I have to admit, I've never heard of this game. I think I was playing Super Mario Land at the time instead...
Tyro, you are correct. Medievil was not only a game from 1998, but also an AWESOME game! So great, they had to port it to the PSP when that came out. I loved the game so much I bought it and beat it again!
CP, or Class Points, judge how close you are to mastering your class. Some classes require more than others. Many players regard these as more valuable than Experience. In game you gain Class Points by doing class-oriented things.
So every time I perform magic/spells, I gain a class point? Or part of a class point? Or something like that?
When they become successfully applied. Casting Light to investigate something counts. Casting Frost Shield won't count unless it prevents some damage.
Sorry to double post, but I was wondering. With knowledge, do I rely on a die roll to decide if I know how to do something/recognize something? Specifically, the bubbling sound. In our cave. If it would make sense for Silver to recognize what it was. IDK, I just thought I'd ask. Seems like it would work that way to me...
Dunno for this Rp, but in D&D v 3.5, you could make an intuition or knowledge on (insert type of knowledge here, such as history or some art/skill) dice roll. It would be on a 20-dice.
Just wondering, are there going to be any contact between the 3 groups throughout the RP, such as characters trading off between two of them, or are the current groups going to remain static with no contact?
Mmhhmmm... Don't know, but if Eight Star would've wanted to, why did he put the three groups at different towns? Maybe after a group has finished it's mission, he'll send them to another group to make the Rp going faster? Only guessing.
I think that after the groups complete their missions, maybe they'll be mixed up and then sent off on new missions. :/ Or perhaps he will find some way to make the groups interact. Either way would be pretty cool.
In any case, i hope this Rp's gonna last for more than a week or two, it started well, and looks like it'll continue this way.
