(still with kidd trying to find the others.) Espir: "Kidd do you see anyone?" "Or will you just not answer?" no answer Espir: "Are you sleep flying or something?" OOC: I know stare master is offline when i'm posting this, just wanted to post something.
OOC:If it sounds like I'm bragging or talking like I'm better than the rest of you, I do apoligize. Part of it is I'm reallypleased at how that game is going, and admittedly I do have a big head on these sort things.
Clef has been walking for hours and finally stumbled upon a inn he was hungry, tired, and injured. "Ugh... So hungry," Clef moans, he opens the door to see that everyone was cleaning up tables and mugs "what happened?" Clef asked. "The Reavers happened!" one of the ponies spat, Clef looked at all the ponies and startted to trot towards the bar keeper "um... Can you spare some food for a poor child," Clef said, (his small size can be a advantage to him). "Sure... you can have half of a loaf," he said. " Thanks!," Clef says he starts to nom on the loaf, Clef starts to walk upstairs to find an open door he starts to walk quietly towards the door and when he poked his head he found Luck and Zephyr in the room. "Guys!," he yelled he ran into the room and jumped on the bed "were have you been," he laughed he starts to nibble on his loaf again.
Eden looked at the makeshift stage. All it was was a wooden backboard. It was high on some sort of temple that unicorns used to raise and lower the sun, accept apparently some alicorn had started to do it with her sister. According to Discord, this was a threat to the plan, and both had to be eliminated. They were going to make some sort of announcement soon, and when they did, Eden was going to be ready for them with a big, loving battleaxe.
Eden watched as the majestic alicorn mounted the stage, standing tall, looking down upon the crowd. When she began to speak, Eden felt a horrible memory resurface. He was in the forest again, in his cradle. His mother wasn't looking at him; she was looking straight ahead. She came to the river, and she made her final stand. She left his cradle in the tree, and he saw and heard the horrible things he had thought he had forgotten. The angry shout of, "Where is he?!" before he watched the alicorn impale his mother on the tree branch. The splat of blood sprinkled over him, and Eden returned to reality. "You...", Eden said, looking at the alicorn in disbelief. "You!" Eden screamed as he rushed at her, heaving the battleaxe behind him. When he was close enough, he swung it in an arc toward her neck, aiming to decapitate. He released the ax with one hoof and let it sail on momentum until it sank into the wood backdrop. She ducked in time, and without any hesitation, she rose again, and pierced his leg with her horn, right on the joint. She kicked him off, and he felt a sickening plummet before he hit the ground, barely surviving the impact. He looked up, and saw Discord standing over him. "Help me up, Discord.", he said, wincing in the pain of movement. Discord shook his head sadly. "Sorry, my little pony. I don't do bits and pieces." He cackled before he vanished, leaving a puff of smoke. Suddenly, an ant hill rises from where he stood, and fire ants began to pour out and onto Eden. Eden gritted his teeth in rage. It was then when he went ethereal, and stood, ants falling through him like rain. He went to the nearest Follower headquarters, and was shocked to find none were listening to him, and he was kicked out. "That bastard Discord must have erased their memory or something.", he groaned to himself. He left the state and collapsed. He limped to the nearest tavern and bought a room with the few bits he had collected during his short time as faction overseer, he hired a doctor to bandage the wound, and then went back to the bar part of the tavern. And so Eden began to drown his sorrows, one bottle of mead at a time.
Kamin was on the stage watching the alicorn until he saw that pony Eden was his name swung a battle axe towards her he chuckled "Oh my friend... you are either the bravest pony I know or the stupidest,". He watched the pony get his leg pierced and he laughed "Oh thats what you get for ordering me around," until he looked at the pony and he turned invisible "Urm... Stupid magic trick," he scoffed, "But there is something about him... just can't remember," he started laughing walking down the road making his way towards the base.
Zephyr looks over at Clef nibbling on his loaf hungrily. He'd only just then realized that he himself was starving, the last time he'd eaten was before his departure yesterday. Perhaps with the recent events it's easy to lose track of time, and food. His stomach rumbled fiercely, and as he went to go comfort his stomach with a pat from his hoof, the money pouch from before had gotten in the way. "Hmm, I forgot about this..." He looks up Luck "Unless you're some sort of Camel you've got to be starving right about now, want to get something to eat? I'm paying, and who knows, with a little luck we might score some extra grub!" He begins running his favorite meals through his mind with anticipation until curiosity grips his imagination like a vice, he sits up and trots over to luck and inspects Luck's back. "You're not some sort of Camel... Right?"
(So tempted to say "Only when I smoke") Luck's mood was sour from the encounter with Eden. He had bought time, but in truth, he had already heard enough, already seen enough. The game Eden was playing left him on a house of sticks and cards, the type of win casinos used to get the players invested-no, addicted before they started bleeding them dry. It was too much influence for a pony to have, particularly since a few hours before the pony had assualted him in a spot of panic. Lazy? Definitely. Arrogant? Sure. Hedonist? A little bit. But Luck Wyrd was the son of an aristocrat, an accomplished liar, rabble rouser, and gambler. Stupid, he was not. Still, the entire situation had gotten very hairy and increased his headache. Luck's response to Zephyr had nearly been a sharp retort...But upon opening his mouth his stomach betrayed him with a loud and obnoxious gurgle. Luck left his mouth dangling for a second at the sheer randomness of it, then shook his heaad slightly and said wearily "Food sounds great. You lead". Luck let Zephyr do that while he thought on what happened and came to one conclusion. Whatever might have happened, whatever might be established, they needed to leave. this town now. Something was afoot and already set against them, and the actions of the night hadn't made them better. He couldn't supress a groan when he realized that it would probably be safest to leave right after food and to get some distance from this town, and probably an even better idea to go off road at a point where they could lose anyone following. In Luck's mind, there was one very simple summary to all of this: Not fair.
Kamlin has been sitting on a chair thinking of a plan, a plan witch may give him power and wealth or death. His plan was to create a rebellion inside the Reavers he wanted power and will not stop at nothing to get it. His plan was simple gather the weaklings and maybe some big authorities then take over and destroy this town. He smiled "well looks like this plan is going to work,".
Eden was laying outside the tavern he had been staying in, sober, but just barely. He was wearing a hat he had one in a bet, and he was considering where to go next. Discord had betrayed him, and he had extended and invitation to Luck. Perhaps he should warn Luck that Discord was not to be trusted. Eden laid, hugging his last bottle of mead like it was a child. Eden took another sip from the bottle, and felt a rush of anger and sadness. (Renegade) Why would he warn Luck? If he wanted anything from him, he should have helped Eden out. Eden looked up, and saw the child that had asked for the flower in a nearby alleyway, watching him with a grin on his face. That child had something to do with this, he knew it. Suddenly, his view was blocked by Reavers. "This is him?", the first one asked the other. The other nodded, and the first kicked him in the chest. Eden, to let off his anger and to defend himself, stood and smashed his bottle one the second's head. Eden watched as the precious liquid spilled from the bottle, and onto the bleeding Reaver. "Ye spilled me mead!", Eden shouted in anger, hitting the other in the face with the sharp edge of the bottle. In a rage, the Reaver punched at Eden, attempting to land at least a single blow. Eden spun the bottle around, distracting the Reaver before he broke the last of the bottle by stabbing the pony in his chest. Eden's other leg was still damaged, but the doctor had helped it enough so he could stand on it. After he knocked the Reavers out, he salvaged their bits and disposed of their bodies in a nearby alleyway. He used the bits to purchase another bottle of mead, and laid, once again, in front of the tavern. Eden began to laugh, and then silenced himself to take another sip. He had succeeded, for the most part, in forgetting his woes.
Kamlin has been sleeping on a chair until he was knocked on his head "idiot! get to the inn down the road some of our men has not responed for awhile," he yelled. Kamlin sighed and got out of his chair he orderd his four lakeys to follow him. "Come on idiots lets get to inn bring your swords with you just incase," he said, they nodded in aggrement and started to trot towards the inn he got out his sword and kicked the door he looked around he nodded and the four ponies started to circle the inside of the inn. Clef has finished his bread and noticed that Luck and Zephyr went down to get some food, Clef rubbed his tummy and needed some water too he started to walked towards the stairs until he heard the door bust in and noticed his enemy, Kamlin, "crud... I thought i'd never see him again," he wispeard he looked at Luck and Zephyr and tried to warn them by waving his hooves to them.
Zephyr trotted downstairs in glee that his offer had been accepted. He hummed a cherry tune as he trotted down the stairs and strolled on along to the bar counter. Picking up a menu he began to scroll through until he abruptly ceased his humming. He doubletaked at the menu a few times and began compulsively searching through it. He let out of gruff and slammed it down. "What kind of a bar doesn't have waffles?!" He looked up and noticed he'd offended the Colt behind the counter. Actually, now that he thought about it, there's was nothing that kept him from simply throwing Zephyr out. It was because of the Reavers searching for him that the bar was trashed in the first place. "Umm..." He spun around to bring Luck outside in search of something edible when he noticed someone in the doorway, someone who looked rather familiar. "Oh crap." He got into an evasive stance, there was no way he could take on a Reaver, but he could definitely outmaneuver one. Hell, he still had his knife if it seriously came down to it. He glanced over at Luck. "Argh... this isn't going to end nicely"
Kamlin looked around the room to see a face, a face that looked a familiar, a face that looked like one of the ponies in the wanted sign. A huge grin popped in his face "Oh oh this IS to perfect," he laughs, "Come on you guys are still here!,". He looked at his lakies and ordered them to start to surround his little friend worth 150 bits, "So so.. Looks like im going to get my own bounty!," he laughed he started to push all the ponies out of his way and looks at him lets see some one help you out of this one. Clef waved his hooves at them but it was too late Kamlin has surrounded Zephyr and Luck, Clef started pacing wondering what to do then it came to him he walked quietly downstairs it was really hard because the whole inn was silent things had to get loud before he can exucute his plan.
After being kicked from the bar he had been hanging around in, he walked another nearby bar. He saw a Reaver standing in the doorway, apparently trying to block somepony. Eden lifted his bottle and struck him on the back of his head. "Get out of the bloody doorway, you stupid Reaver!", Eden shouted at the dazed pony. He pushed him aside and strolled into the bar, but not before salvaging a few bits from the body. He looked around the bar, sighting a few familiar faces. He saw Zephyr, and so he walked up to him, laughing. "How are ya, Zephyr? I've been fine! Boy, you aught to try some of this mead!", Eden laughed, staggering backward toward the bar. "I'll take another bottle of this!", he shouted, holding up the bottle. He bought the bottle, and laughed as he staggered out. "Well, come on mah boy!", he shouted back at Zephyr, accidentally kicking the door Reaver in the ribs again.
Luck turned, looked at the new group, and felt his stomach drop mid-rumble-which he noted in the back of his mind was very odd sensation indeed. "What now?" Luck sighed. Seriously, two gangs had justed busted into this place into one night, and for the life of him he couldn't figure out why. The vauge sense was that they had something to do with it, but that didn't make any sense...unless it was Eden and his new benefactor. Eden was a shortsighted pony and angry enough to do some sort of crap liek this, and had the resources. Luck had a guess then-Eden wasn't going to wait till noon. It was either join, or die. And then Clef spoke with some dread about seeing him again, and Luck's theory went out the window. "Hold on, hold on. I wanna know why this means I can't SIT HERE and have a good meal BEFORE I get assaulted AGAIN" Luck said aloud to the group, waving one of his hooves in the air in a dispersing sort fashion while secreting gathering his will and energy. He hoped to stall, give them a reason to slowly enclose on him instead of just rushing them. It was time to drop a flashbang, despite it being a gamble, and he wanted to try and hit them all in one go. The downside to this plan was he had no way of telling Zephyr that he would need to be carried after it, but he had no choice. Luck had nothing to go on but his namesake, and he could almost feel it running out. And then Eden walked in, knocked out the reaver(OOC:Apparently there was only one), and the problem was solved...except Eden was still a problem in his own right. "Man, you're keeping busy, aren't you?" And then Eden left....Luck grinned, but still turned to Zephyr" I don't suggest we leave with him, but I reckon it's time to find a new food place".
OOC: Editing, seriously, getting sick of writing out long paragraphs only to find out someone makes it voided as I was writing it. Edit: Actually no, I won't edit it. I already wrote out the same string of actions for the Reavers being in the bar like 3 times only to have it voided 3 times. I'm waiting until it actually becomes official before I do anything.
(( Well yawn I'm going to sleep let's just say Kamlin was knocked out and Clef was also knocked out by a pony stepped on his head and i'll just delete that post ok I feel terrible..... Im sorry Arcanearts and Otirrob I should have been more patient to post hope you can forgive me. . )))
(Buck it! [lolsopa], how many ponies are here?) "...BOUNTIES? No, no way, I'm sorry, I can't have gotten in so much trouble I have a bounty. Screw y'all, I'm out, Zephyr, pick me up on the way out". Luck said, tired of the bull*squee!* and trusting his fortune one more time. Luck charged the group, his horn glowing brilliantly in front of them. Several of them took him on the charge and jumped for him and his bounty. Which, quite frankly, was what Luck wanted. Luck unleashed the spell right as they began to leap for him. A deafening explosion of soun erupted from his horn, and light blasted their way in the eyes of the attackers and into their brain. Luck might not have gotten them all, but he most assuredly got a majority, and even people not involved in the inital rush would be disoriented and in pain. On top of that, as Luck began to black out, his momentum flew him forwad and under the attackers, who collided mid air and fel lto the ground, adding skull fractures to everything else. But with that said, Luck was down and out, and would be for the rest of the night. (SCIENCE: Yeah, flashbangs **** people up. I don't care who you are, what you do, big bad soldier or drug crazed gangster, the light and sound emitted from a flashbang non violently DROPS ANYONE within the radius. What I'm saying is-If you make it so it doesn't work, I will be cross) (EDIT: OOC: Yeah, i got tired of the *squee!* as well. I don't care what anyone else does, I just dropped them all, Luck's out, moving on.)
Eden feels his eyes start to burn from the bright light. He takes a swig of mead before the deafening sound powers through him. (Being piss drunk and bright lights and loud noises don't mix) Eden picks up the mead, and stumbles into the crowd. He wasn't facing the light when it happened, so the effects were softened. He could see, but not enough. He tripped over a body, and face planted into the ground. He stood, even more disoriented, and found Luck's limp body among the others. He drags it out of the bar and into an alley before he lays down, take off his hat, and vomits into a nearby sewer grate. "Whew!", Eden laughs. "You got some claws on ya, Lucky!"
