Zephyr looks at the scene unveiling before him. He peered from behind the tree and squinted his eyes. He just saw one of the ponies in the clearing, why was he so difficult to see now? He shakes his head softly and dispels the thought. Zephyr knew where he was, he just couldn't focus for some reason. He shifted his attention to the other voice. It came from right below him, he looked down, but couldn't see anything. He thinks to himself "Now I could have swore I just heard a voice right there..." He peered further over the branches when suddenly a loud SNAP reached his ears. Zephyr looked around in surprise, and went back to thought "Must've been hearing things, now back to-" His train of thought is immediately cut off but another loud SNAP, shortly followed by a loss of balance. The limb Zephyr was standing on suddenly gave out from under him and snapped, probably knocked loose from the giant ball earlier. "AHHHHH!" He fell out of the tree and landed on what felt like a pony. He reached out and poked the invisible mass to confirm his assumptions. They were correct. "What in the?!" (Edit: Not sure If I can even touch an Etheral Pony, so I landed in a bush instead) (Double Edit: Someone else touched him, Fair game >)
Clef wakes up but something different inside of his mind changed "Ah yes that stupid Clef is back were he belongs deep inside the mind," he said, "now why am I in a bush!?" he stands up to get out of the bush that was making his coat and mane all dirty. "Ugh this ruffian doesn't know his proper manners," he said, He hears a thud near him "Urm... What was that?". He starts to see a clearing noticing a Black coated Pegasus and another laying on the ground. He steps into the clearing "Ah.. let me help you up," he said he starts to walk towards the fallen pony an steps on something and screams. "What is this!?," he yelled, he pokes the air but feels something, "Oh nothing to fret only a pony probably a spell, potion, or a cloak,". He walks up to the invisible pony "Ah... YOu dont scare me with your fancy tricks your still a pony just invisible that's all," he scoffs at the pony, "All I need to do is..." he grabs some mud from the mud puddle and throws it at the pony covering him in mud "see now we can all see," he smiled, "might as well turn yourself back so we can actually see who you are,".
"Get off me!" Eden is furious about the fact a pegasus just fell on him, and blew his cover. No, he wasn't invisible, but he was hard enough to see he could toy with the minds of those around him. "If you don't move, I'll break your neck!" He couldn't break his neck, he had only killed what he needed to. But that didn't mean he was weak; in fact it was the opposite. He had killed enough creatures to understand that everything had a heart, and hearts were easy to eat. Of course he wouldn't eat the pegasus, but he sure would hurt the fellow if he didn't clear some ground.
Kidd looks back and forth between the fallen pegasi and Clef. What was going on? After considering what questions he should ask, Kidd decides on a simple one. "Who threw the rock at me?"
Eden pushes the pegasus off. "Depends. Did the rock hurt?" Just toying with minds, don't mind him. Eden loved screwing with ponies, especially verbally.
Zephyr frantically stumbles to his feet and looks the other pony in the eye, squinting as he does. "Wow, fancy trick you've got there! How're you doing that?" He taps him on the forehead in attempts to feel for a horn, but his efforts are wasted. "Huh? That's weird. How're ya doing this without a horn?" He quickly jumps next to the unknown pony and pokes where his ribs should be. "Oh! You have wings? You're a pegasus?! That's odd." Zephyr jumps in the air and spins upside down keeping his eyes at eye level of the other pony, making eye contact, a hoof to his chin in thought. "How's that possible? Oh well, not everything can be explained I guess." He continues to hover near the angry pony, circling him, trying to get a better picture of who he had just collided with.
Kidd un-Blurs. Looking at the transparent pegasus, he says "So I guess it was you... Fantastic." Kidd now looks at the flying blue pegasus. "I hope you're ok, I guess I owe you one for landing on Rocky here."
Clef's split personality wonders at the pony "now if your here wh-," he stops in his tracks "No it is to soon!" he falls to the ground and his head starts to twitch. He goes still for a couple of seconds and springs back up at full speed hoping around humming a song. "Hey guys!," he laughed, "Whats going on here are you having a party without me?". He stops jumping and notices 2 new ponies "New ponies! alright!," he yelled "Whats your name my name is Clef!,".
"Or maybe you should owe me one for not killing you on sight. And if you call me Rocky, I'll call you dead. Perhaps you should call me, 'Master'." Eden spreads his wings. "Bow to me, suckers." He spirals into the air, and is well on his way home when his wings go numb and he falls back toward the group. "Well, that didn't work at all. Looks like I'm stuck with you lot."
Kidd smiles at the pegasus. "Well ok, Master Rocky, since you're stuck with us, why don't you tell us your real name?" Kidd then looks to the blue pegasus "And how about you?"
"Yay! new company," he laughs, " So what do you for fun,", Clef starts to bombard the 2 new ponies with questions but starts to get bored "Ugh... Kidd! Im bored what do we do now!" he yelled, "Wait I know!," he starts to count all the leaves on the ground "1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4 and a 5 and a 6 and a 7 and a 8..." he kept on counting waiting for somepony to do something fun!
Zephyr looks down at the fallen pony and chuckles. "Maybe instead of fiddling around with your magic tricks you should learn to fly first-snicker-" He spins around and lands on his feet, trotting to the black pegasus in the clearing. He smiles and holds out a hoof. "Th'names Zephyr, and you?"
"Kidd. It's a pleasure." Looking over at Clef, he adds in "And... um... before you ask- No. I have no idea what's going on with him. But he does seem happy now."
"I think I'll keep my name inside, it's not like we're tied up. Besides, I can walk home. Maybe." Eden thinks about what the pony said. "You called me Rocky. I made myself perfectly clear, don't do that." He (Renegade) tackles the pony down. "Did." He hits the pegasus in the face. "I." He hits him again. "Not." Another hit. "Make." He was enjoying this, he really was. "Myself clear?" He finished, slamming the pegasus's head into the ground. "Answer me, kid!" The truth was, he was probably the youngest one there.
Clef looks back to see the pony betting up Kidd his eyes widened and he grabs all the leaves and throws it at the pony he quickly makes a mud puddle and creates the mud cannon with ease he takes out the mud ball and looks at the pony fire burns in his eyes he grabs the pony and throws him inside the cannon. "Tell me! Tell me why I shoudln't blast you into the forest with broken limbs and no way to survive," he yelled, You could actually feel the anger coming from Clef.
Kidd slipped out from under the violent pegusus with surprising ease. He stands up, and appears somehow unscathed. “A quick tip for you. If you want to attack me, do it from the side, I’m VERY weak from the side... But… As soon as you covered me, you created a shadow. While I’m sure you damaged the ground, I was just fine. INSIDE the shadow.” Then, just to himself, he thinks, “But that first punch DID hit it’s mark. Owch.” "Take it easy Clef, no harm no foul. Lets just hope he got it out of his system. Besides, I'm not sure you could hurt a pegasus by fireing him from a cannon. At least, not this one."
Zephyr chuckles at the angry pegasus when an idea comes into his head. "Hehehe, Hey Rocky!~" He begins to fly in circles around the clearing humming to himself. "Oh Rockeh~" "Rocky!" "Woo, Rockey!"
Clef starts to twitch again and stops "Ah... Yes! Looks like anger makes a good spot for me to get back in," he said, " Oh you must be Kidd I believe you are one of Clef's friends,". He looks at the cannon and makes it crumble making the Pegasus fall into the mud "Sorry about Clef he can be... very emotional," he chuckled, " I like your style there to art of surprise and taking no remorse I like that in you,".
Luck shook his entire body in response to the spell. The bitter chill of the wind and the rain was still in his bones, even though the the night was warm and clear, and the rapid thrumming of his heart spoke to a threat that couldn't exist in the tranquility. Luck still wasn't used to magic and cursed his fates that he had decided to challenge his grandfather's words. Now he was investigating one of the darkest and wildest places in Equestria, physically exhausted from one of the most trying branches of magic, shivering from a storm that hadn't even arrived, looking for a clearing that could be any one of a thousand, and would still need to find out why it was so important. "All because you were convinced you couldn't do something and had to prove the old hack wrong", Luck thought sourly to himself. He shook his shamrock green coat of water that didn't exist and scowled back at his cutie mark, a golden thread surrounded by a black thread tied and shaped into an hourglass, before looking back forward. There was no real road, no suggestion of a path, and no real light to guide him apart from the beam he was conjuring. The adolescent stallion sighed and took off his pack and began fishing through it until he found his thick apprentice cloak, a purple thing with some star designs on them, and put it on, grateful that it at least had sleeves to keep his forelegs warm, as opposed to other cloak designs. He pulled his purple wizard hat low over his eyes and ebgan again on his path, wondering how he was going to find this place, and also bothered by one part of his vision. The storm that was to come had hit hard and fast, was almost a living thing full of malice. The rain had come in sheets, the wind whipped like a scourge, and lightning had danced all around. There had been other ponies, and they had been running for some form of shelter, he was sure of it. But one of them, a dark figure who he couldn't make out clearly, had-would have his journey stopped short. A heavy branch would break under the pressure and crash down on him-or her, or it , for all Luck knew, and he didn't see enough to know if the pony survived, died, or came out horribly maimed. That was the worst part of this new train of life. Luck hated finding out if something in one of his spells came true or not. Before, he was reckless, he had caused lots of people trouble, but he never really got anyone hurt. Well, not badly. But in divination? Bad stuff happened all the time, and a lot of the times people fell right into it. Luck wasn't the sort to feel responsible for it, but it still bothered him. Luck was broken out of his revery by the unexpected sound of almost psychotic music. It wasn't bad, just very fast paced. It was lively and uplifting, and more importantly, it was a direction. Luck began to run as fast as he could, tripping several times over roots, stones and other things and cursing his luck. Roads. Seriously. Someone needed to chop this place down and lay down come proper roads. Luck thought he almost had it when the music dropped suddenly. He continued on in earnestness for a while, then found it waning as he realized he wasn't hitting the site of the music yet. Cursing, he yelled out "Hey, ponies out there! Where are you at? Keep playing or start chatting or something, anything!" OOC:I'm ashamed I responded to this before I did the MLP:FiM RP thread, but there you have it. 1)Feel free to take control of Luck for simple conversation purposes. Right now, he's cross from the entire trip and pretty tired, and despite the time I put into it, he'll forget about that storm pretty quickly. Despite that, he is very used to things working out on their own and is a generally hopeful guy. The entire "professional magic" thing is new to him, and he really doesn't like that his strongest talent is divination as opposed to simply being lucky, so as far as his magic goes he's actually bitter on the subject. If you ask him to work he'll initially be annoyed but if you push him he will do it, and do it poorly(not on purpose, it's just he's from Canterlot and is very much a child of it, so wilderness stuff is...unfamiliar territory) and will apoligize sincerely for it. If you give him time to rest up, his devil-may-care/gambler attitude will come out, and he has several wild stories where he nearly should have ended up in trouble were it not for him being the favored son of a priveleged family. This can be very fun and enjoyable or very obnoxious depending on how you respond to the last part(Or both), but on the whole he isn't a horrible attitude-it's just circumstances right now. Questions about why he's the favored son, or how he got into magic is stuff I'll cover in posts, so if you wanna go there, just set up the end of your post so I can type that stuff up. 2)I don't know if being lucky is a talent or not, but if it is, I would like to replace telekinesis with it(or at least neuter it to a point where it's only useful for mundane tasks). EDITED PS:HOLY SHIP, You people exploded out of nowhere with posts. Grr and darn. Oh well, uh.....I'm not changin the post to a more recent mark.
"Go ahead and try, violin. Go ahead and try." He turned to the pegasus. "Thanks for the advice, stupid. Now I know to hit you when the sun's facing me. You should think this through. The bastard that almost turned your face into a crater now knows how to hit you harder." Eden finally calmed. "Ah, screw it. I'm going to die here anyway, if I can't leave. Keep flying, creep. I don't have to look at you." Eden wasn't as stupid as he looked. "Name's Eden, or so I heard a long while ago. And you are?"
