OOC: The whole "being angry and mean" just to be angry and mean doesn't appeal to me. Zephyr's a bit more passive aggressive than that.
OOC: Oh, but it's much more than just being mean. If I could open a door to save a family, or get paid to turn on the death gas, I would probably take the money, kill the executioner, open the door. Not renegade or paragon. But if I was put in a situation where I benefit (say, stealing the water from a village), it would be the best choice. Renegade isn't about being mean, it's about getting what you want. If you still don't understand that, you're thinking too hard. Kicking starving orphans, there is no benefit. But if the starving orphan says he knows where the safe house is and gives us its location for food, I would say, "Food goes to those who deserve it, kid. Get out of my face." Benefit, evil, and direct pleasure. That, my friends, is what renegade is about.
OOC: MONEY! IT'S A HIT! DON'T GIVE ME THAT DO GOODY GOOD BULL*squee!*! Thanks, Pink Floyd! Now I know what renegade means!
OOC: Luck currently is suffering from the same issue I'm having with Vision in the FiM thread(Self hate for not starting that up yet)-they were more or less made up on the fly, so I don't know where I'm going with them. Even once I figure out the possible arcs and directions, it's still a matter of discussion with the GM and what choices I feel like making when we get to those moments of definition. Regardless, as Luck gets better with Divination, it becomes a huge flank issue of whether he goes paragon or renegade. A villian who can see the future and is favored by fate would be a really big force to take on, particularly if Luck can get the resources to do those things he can't and expand from there. On the other hand, going good can explain, historically, another reason why Equestria is so damn peaceful in modern times. And neutral is just....not interesting. Par the course for stories, I like the idea of his laziness, arrogance, and greed starting to get the better of him and even becoming the villian for an arc or two, but ultimately becoming a force for good. But we'll see how it goes.
espir enters forest looking for wood, see's clearing in forest, "Hello?" he pushed some bushes and see's 5 people in there.
Kidd wakes with a start. "Wha-? Oh! Hello! You must be the last... uh-oh..." GM Post; Everypony wakes as the ground rumbles. A force rushes through the area, sending waves of fear into your cores. With an almighty crack, the ground splits into a giant gorge. From the maw of this gorge, a large arch begins to rise. This arch is massive, a solid stone structure that cleaves through the sky. Before anypony can react, a solid ball of blackness appears in the arch’s center. The ball flattens out, and spreads to the far corners of the arch. Red lightning cracks across the black surface, and everypony begins to feel the wind pick up. The wind blows with unworldly force, and sends everypony into the wall of blackness. No earth pony is strong enough to resist, no pegasus could fly fast enough, and no spells or abilities could do any good. As each pony hits the blackness, they lose consciousness and disappear. You all wake up, slightly nauseous, and completely disoriented. You are no longer in the forest, or any forest for that matter. You wake up at the edge of a small town. NONE of you know this town, and everypony feels… Off. Something isn’t right… But what?
"Urm... I don't feel well," moans Clef, Clef barfs all over the ground "Argh! My stomach," he screams he falls to the ground avoiding his barf all over the grass and starts to moan again. His head starts to twitch again doesn't stop "What the hay is this my head won't stop shacking!," Kamlin yells, he starts to moan in pain again it keep on going back in forth Clef moaning and Kamlin yelling at himself to stop moaning.
Eden shakes his head. He looks up, and sees that is it still night, but something is wrong. Something is very, very wrong. He looks at the rest of the group, and sees the mage, Luck, as he faintly remembered, among them. "You...", he says, attempting to contain his anger and hatred. "You... You stupid mages! Your the reason we're stuck here, aren't you? You used your freak magic to... to do THIS, and now we're in some strange alternate timeline! That's it isn't it; this is just some kind of joke!" (Renegade) Eden tackles the pony, and begins brutally smashing his face, hit by hit, each one landing square on his nose. OOC: I am now in control of this RP (at least for a while), and I'm going to make this a very open segment. Lots of opportunity, lots of twists and turns...
(Paragon) Kidd rushes to the aid of Luck. He grabs hold of Eden's shoulders and tries to pull him off, "Eden! Eden, stop! Darn it Eden!" Unable to pull the pegasus away, Kidd sighs. He touches his front hoof to Eden's forehead, and gives him the shortest, weakest NightMare possible. Eden releases Luck and backs away. OOC// The NightMare should last for only half a minute, with no major damage. (_+3_)
Zephyr stirs on the ground, his body close to the ground, and his head hung low and him taking deep breaths as a desperate gambit to settle his stomach. He is stuck in his own world as a loud buzzing in his ears deafens him to the world outside, and his focus is drawn entirely to his gut. After a few moments he regains his hearing and his control over his stomach. He looks up in a slight daze and rubs the stars out of his eyes. He gives a sigh of relief in discovering that he wasn't the only one to take this misadventure with him. He groans. "Ughhh, what in the living hell just happened?" He hung his head low once more as his stomach began to protest to his movements. Although he was a fast flyer, one of his downfalls would have to be his weak stomach.
Clef pain goes away but Kamlin was still trying to get back into the front of the mind. "Urgh...," he groaned he starts to look around to see he was not in the forrest anymore he was near a small little town. He looks around to see that Eden was on the floor, Zephyr was on the ground looking like he was going to puke, and Kidd was near the horrible beaten up Luck "Oh my.." he whispers he looks back at the town and was wondering what occupants was living in there curiosity took over Clef and started to walk into the town his head started to twitch and Kamlin got in. "Ahh... Finally something I wanted Clef to do," he chuckled, He walks into the town wondering aimlessly through the road.
"Are you ok, Luck?" asks Kidd. He did not notice that Clef had wondered off. Kidd frowns, he says, "Ok... Before we can do anything, we have GOT to do something about Eden... He's WAY too violent... Do you agree with me, Zephyr? Oh... Are YOU ok?"
Eden writhes on the ground. He was back in his camp, conversing with the stranger again. The horrible shock when the stranger drew the knife, when he was forced into the corner. He tried to go ethereal, like he had before, but it wasn't working. It was horrible, the pony was getting closer, the knife seeming to get larger... Back to reality. Eden is covered in cold sweat, and he is breathing heavily. "What... What the hell did you just do to me?", he gasps at Kidd. "You sick, disgusting prick! I should kill you where you stand!" The shock of re-living his near death experience kept him on the ground, his chest heaving. It could have been worse. It could have been his mother's death.
Zephyr is in a dazed staring contest in the ground for a few moments before shaking his head and dispelling the nausea once and for all. He wipes a few drops of sweat from his face and turns to look at Kidd. "Huh? Eden? Oh, just slap him around a bit or something." He falls backwards onto his ass and sits on the ground for a bit before looking around. He asks, "Hmm, hey, where's that guy who was kind of loony. Ok, that's not nearly specific enough. The one seems to not be able to decide on a personality. Ok that's still not specific enough." He puts a hoof to his chin in thought. "The one with the violin."
"Oh! Eden? Wha-? That was the weakest I could do! How did it affect you so bad?" Kidd starts towards Eden, and then looks at Luck. He frowns again and said, "You know, you kind of had it coming. This is the second time you just attacked somepony! What's wrong with you!? What makes you think HE did it!?" Kidd hears Zephyr. "Wha-? Oh my... Clef!"
Eden looks around. "He... left? We're free? I can ditch you pricks! Freedom!" Eden shoots away from the camp, and attempt to find his camp. All he can find, however, is dense forest. He was sure it was right there, there was no doubt. He returns to the clearing, his hopes significantly dampened. "You were right. I'm insane." He thinks about Kidd's confusion. "I've only had two horrifying moment in my life so far, and both are horrifying. No matter what you did, weak is going to be strong." He spits. "What's with you ponies? Vomiting and such, it's disgusting. Although I guess I have an advantage, due to the fact that shock is relative. I don't feel a thing. Well, you can kill me now. I think I've seen enough."
"Ok... Real quick, WHY do you think we're going to kill you?" Kidd shakes his head sadly. He thinks, To have memories so horrible, he must have had a rough life. “I think we should go find Clef, he might get into some trouble.”
Zephyr looks at Kidd. "Well at least we have a way to tug on that leash of his now, whatever it was you did." He walks forward and approaches the town, looking back, "Come on y'all, we should try to go find Clef... Or whatever his name is. I've got a bad feeling about this place."
Clef walks around the town humming a song "ugh you stupid idiot stop humming that same song!," yelled Kamlin inside Clef's mind. Clef looks around the town. "Um... who said that?" Clef asked. "What!? You can hear me ok Clef stop thinking and give me your mind so I can lead us," Kamlin said. "Nuh uh uh my concision can't over my mind," he laughed. "You stupid idiot! Let me take over your mind!," Kamlin screamed. "Nah... i'll just be walking around,"Clef chuckled he starts to hum the song loud enough to not hear Kamlin's cursing.
