Rose smiled & walked out with steel, leading him to the hive

Dusk was nearing & the two walked out of a forest of dead trees to find the changeling hive with many changeling flying around it,"follow me and act like you're under a spell of love…", rose said quietly, walking forward

 

Steel completely focused on Rose as he walked behind her, even using a spell to make his eyes green. He drooled slightly as he followed

Rose giggled slightly when she saw steel,"you're overdoing it, stop drooling…"

 

Steel nodded obediently and kept the act up

 

Rose smiled & kissed steel as they walked into the hive

 

Steel struggled to control himself, but kept following Rose. The kiss helped him a bit.

 

Rose smiled, then a changeling that passed her said,"stal berry", & rose nodded to them

 

Steel kept his expression but exhaled heavily, a warning sign. He then snorted and fully recommitted himself to the act.

 

Rose wrapped a foreleg around steel, a few changeling saying the same as the first changeling, & she led steel to an old house within the hive with broken boarded windows & a rotting door, then went in, closing the door behind them,"this is my home in the hive…"

 

"Yeah, so in recent news, you're living with me when this is over. What did that changeling say to you?" Steel whispered, looking disdainfully at the living conditions. "I cant believe you had to live like this..."

 

"They were all just saying hi… & my room is almost as good as that of the average pony…"

 

"But the outside..." Steel said. "Nevermind. Let's do this." Steel said, determined. "I need to get back at Chrysalis for biting part of my ear off...

 

"You don't need time to prepare?", rose asked, slightly worrying

 

Steel spat a knife out of his mouth. It stuck in the floor. "I've been prepared for too damn long. I'm gonna be the one torturing her for answers after we catch her." He growled.
