The Capture of Chrysalis (Parsons)

"D-don't you think torture I-is a little much?", rose asked, nearly whispering

 

Steel showed her the part of his ear that Chrysalis had torn off with her teeth. "I don't know. Was this a bit much?" He asked right back.

 

"B-but still, torture is much different than biting an ear off…", rose said, backing away slowly, feeling fearful

 

"Fine. I'll bite her ear off. Only cuz I'm not allowed to kill her unless she's going to kill one of us. If she doesnt surrender, this fight might get ugly." Steel said, getting serious.

 

"A-alright…", rose whispered, still feeling scared

 

"Are you okay?" Steel asked

 

"Y-yeah, you were just sc-scaring me…", rose said, muffling the word scaring

 

"Rose...what's the plan?" Steel asked.

 

"I hadn't thought of a plan, all I know is to not reveal to chrysalis I'm a changeling"

 

Steel shook his head. "She'll know. She's smart. They've seen you with me. You'll have to bring me to her as a trophy and I'll sneak attack her."

 

"Umm, alright… but she hasn't seen me with you, & I doubt she'll learn of me 'controlling' you…"

 

"Fine. Let's just go. I'll take the lead. I've got a score to settle." Steel said, walking to the door

 

"It'll be suspicious if you lead…"

 

"Fine. Come on." He said, rushing her

 

Rose walked out, closing the door & started walking to the centr of the hive, many more changelings there

 

Steel followed, acting like he had a spell on him

 

When they got to the center there was a large mossy stone building with wooden doors, when rose walked in chrysalis was on an old steel throne

Rose tapped steels chest, then chrysalis spoke,"come forth, child!", she projected, rose walking forward,"what must you bring to my attention?", then rose gestured to steel

 

Steel put the act up and followed Rose.
