Steel snarled. "Leave her alone Rose..." He said in a monotone voice. Chrysalis hid behind Steel, her lips pressing against his cheek. "Then the spell would never break, and he would never love anyone again!" She taunted
"Then break the damn spell!", rose yelled, then said much softer,"steel, please, I need you & chrysalis doesn't really love you..."
Chrysalis whimpered. "Actually..." She sighed. Steel collapsed on the floor screaming, holding his head and writhing in pain.
"Why do you get to have him if you brought him to me?!" Chrysalis yelled. Steel began whimpering. Bolt flew over to him. "Brother...mother and I are beginning to get worried...I'll work on breaking the spell so you can make your own choice." He said.
"Why would you two do that to me?! He was the one I had been talking about, Berrirose...my silver knight who I left a reminder of myself with...who I had waited for for ten years!" "C-Chrysalis...I-if you l-love me...y-you would w-want me to be h-happy." Steel cried out. "But, my love...you promised me...you swore you would spawn an entire generation of changelings with me...and then one day you just got up and tried to leave because your mother said I was poisoning you! I wasn't...y-you knew that...I...I'll never find another like you, Steel. I'm sorry, Rose...you must understand at least a bit how I felt...I don't blame you for betraying me for him. And...I'm still offering that reward...because you're the reason I got to kiss him just a few more times. I do want you to be happy Steel. So...go and be happy..." Chrysalis sighed and broke into tears, breaking the hex. Bolt couldn't watch her cry. Neither could Steel. He hid his eyes in Rose's shoulder. "I knew she loved me...I didn't think it was that much..." He said weakly.
Rose kissed steel,"I'm glad to have you back…", then spoke to chrysalis,"I'm sorry, mother…", giving her a hug
Chrysalis hugged Rose back tightly. "Have you thought of what you might want for bringing him to me?" She asked through her tears, trying to calm down. "Chrysalis...I feel terrible for all of this...but I can't leave Rose." Steel said, hanging his head. "I'm proud of you, Berrirose. You have quite the catch there...and Steel, I forgive you, I just hope you two can do the same for me." Chrysalis said, still hugging Rose. She began to lighten up on her crying.
"Rose...I don't want to go back to the hive...I've lost the will to act as queen." Chrysalis said. "Chrissy. Listen to me. You are capable and likely to find another partner. You'll do it. I believe in you. You have to pick yourself up and move on. You're strong, Chrysalis. You have to be strong now. For the entire changeling race. You are their Queen. So go be you. Sign this treaty with Celestia and go home. Okay?" Steel asked. Chrysalis stood back up and stopped crying. "You'll regret this day." She said with a wink before signing the treaty and teleporting back to the hive.
"Two million bits sound alright?" Celestia asked. "Mother, you don't have to be that generous." Steel said. "I want to!" Celestia replied
Rose smiled,"I think that should be a decent amount...", she joked, nuzzling steel (don't for get about the other RP)
