The Capture of Chrysalis (Parsons)

Rose giggled, kissing steel

 

Steel returned the kiss. "I invited Chrysalis to check out the house." He said

 

"Alright, a-are you sure that's wise?"

 

"No, but It's kind." Steel said

 

"Yeah... When is she coming?"

 

"Tonight." Steel said. "She's staying in one of the guest rooms."

 

"Alright, how long?"

 

"A day and a two nights." Steel said

 

Rose sighed,"she's probably gonna have issues here…"

 

"Then she will stay shorter." Steel shrugged. (Your turn to be Chrysalis this time.)

 

"Alright…", after a short while there was knocking on the door

 

Steel opened the door and let Chrysalis in. She packed lightly, just as he advised. "Hello." He said, letting her in

 

"Hello, steel…", chrysalis said, trying to smile & rose waved to chrysalis

 

"How are you?" He asked, taking her bag and walking her to her room

 

"I'm doing pretty good…", chrysalis replied, rose followed the two, watching chrysalis

 

"That's good." Steel said. "Are all of the changelings mad at me?" He asked

 

"I'm not!", rose quickly replied, then chrysalis replied,"no, but some are very disappointed, like me…"

 

"Don't be...it was out of both of our control. And hey...I got my friend back." He said, booping Chrysalis on the nose. "I'm happy."

 

Chrysalis giggled softly, rose hugged steel tightly

 

"Hello there, darling." Steel said, hugging Rose back and kissing her cheek
