Bolt knocked on the door, Xeno next to him. Bolt had his hooves free. "Steel get down here." He said. Steel opened the door. "Come in." He said, letting the family through. "Nice house man." Bolt said.
Rose came down to see Xeno and bolt, then said,"x-Xeno?", then Xeno saw rose & shrieked, hiding behind bolt & almost crying
Bolt growled, paternal instincts kicking in. "Xeno. I won't let her touch you." He said. "What the hell is going on here?" Steel asked Rose
"Xeno, I-it's really you, I searched for you for nearly a year...", rose said happily, then Xeno said,"s-stay away from me!"
Steel hugged Rose. "I don't want to have to fight Bolt. He'll kill me. So explain to me what's going on?" Steel asked. "Ha! He even admits he's weak. See that, Xeno? It's okay...just focus on the fillies and I'll take care of it okay?" Bolt said, kissing Xeno and then his daughters
Xeno kept hiding & cowering, then rose whispered to steel,"she was my friend in the past, she didn't know I was a changeling, then when I revealed it to her she ran, then when I asked her father if she was okay he told me what happened to her mother…"
Bolt's face turned. "Xeno...you can't live in fear. You have to prove to you...and to your mother...you're strong. If you don't want to trust me, then go wait in a room, shut away. The kids and I aren't going to let a thing that didn't happen to us affect our time. Now, you can either trust me, and have steel hold her arms and legs and go talk to her, or we can go home and I can come back alone." Bolt said. Steel grabbed Rose's arms and legs. His eyes and Bolt's begged Xeno to give it a chance.
Bolt gave Xeno the biggest kiss he had ever given. "I'm so proud of you." He said, nuzzling her. "I'll hold her here unless you want me to bring her down." Steel said to Xeno.
Bolt held Xeno in his hooves. "Would me going over there with you help?" He asked. Steel kissed Rose on the cheek. "We're making progress." He said
Bolt very slowly walked Xeno over to Rose, humming to her and nuzzling her the whole way. When they got up to Rose, he hugged her tightly. Steel kept a grip on Rose. "Stay still, Dear." He said.
Rose nodded, then Xeno said,"r-rose… it's nice seeing you again…", then rose said,"yeah, it is, look Xeno, I'm not like those other changelings…"
"This is bad." Steel said. "Bolt...hold Xeno for me...Rose and I have to go lock a door." He yelled, grabbing rose and rushing to Chrysalis's room, locking it. He grabbed her again and walked back down. "I apologize for the interruption, Ms. Roan." Steel said with a head bow. Bolt shrugged. "Continue, girls. Rose is telling the truth, by the way. She saved Steel from Chrysalis twice." He told Xeno
"Xeno..." Bolt said. "Do we need to leave?" Bolt asked. "Back up a bit dear..." Steel said, pulling Rose back. "What does she mean why? What happened to her?" He asked in confusion
Xeno said,"n-no, we can stay…", then rose whispered so only steel could hear,"her mother was killed in the changeling invasion in the crystal empire, a-and she a saw it happen…"
Steel cringed. "Watch this." He said. "Hey Bolt!" He called "What?" Bolt asked. "Ursa Major." Steel said, he himself starting to cry. "Man...why the hell would you even...I'm gonna kill you." Bolt said, crying into Xeno's shoulder.
