The Capture of Chrysalis (Parsons)

"Alrighty then...", rose said, sitting & waiting for him to finish

 

"Done. I have a big bedroll. There." Steel said, laying out the bedroll in the tent. He had blankets too. "You can pick where you sleep." He told Rose

 

Rose laid in the middle & giggled, waiting to see steel's reaction

 

"If you insist..." Steel grunted, squeezing in awkwardly to the right

 

Rose giggled again & blushed,, scooting to the left to give steel room

 

"Thank you." Steel said, nodding

 

"You're very welcome...", rose giggled

 

Steel turned, facing away from Rose, and pulled the covers up

 

Rose pulled over the blankets waiting for steel to fall asleep

 

Steel nodded off to sleep, snoring

 

Rose fell asleep, turning into a changeling & woke up around 4:30, making sure it was before steel, then turned back to a pony

 

"Rose." Steel moaned. He didn't want to upset her

 

"Yes steel, what would you like..."

 

"I fought in the changeling war...I know the sound of transformation." Steel confessed

 

"Umm...", rose started slowly walking backwards away from steel

 

"Rose." Steel said. Once she looked, he made the "lips zipped" movement. "This is only a good thing. You feed off of my love and get strong. That's not bad." He explained

 

Rose looked to the ground & turned into her changeling form,"I'm sorry, steel...", she said softly

 

Steel hugged her. "Unless you're planning on betraying me, there's no need to apologize." Steel said

 

Rose hugged him back,"th-thank you... And I wasn't planing to..."
