The Capture of Chrysalis (Parsons)

Rose smiled,"powerful enough to sustain me...", she said happily

 

Steel looked into her eyes. Their faces were inches apart. "Uh...um...I'll...I would be glad to s-sustain you any time...all the time..." He stuttered

 

Rose giggled & gave steel a quick kiss in the lips, then smiled at him, blushing,"th-thank you..."

 

Steel blushed. "You're very welcome..." He said quietly. "We have a few hours. We can sleep a bit more...if you want...I may or may not just want to lay next to you." He confessed

 

Rose giggled,"I got up pretty early...", she said, going into the tent & signaling steel to follow

 

Steel followed and closed the tent. "Yeah, but I'm glad I got up...best choice I ever made." He giggled

 

Rose blushed slightly,"yeah, I guess so...", rose said, laying down & pulling steel down with her, holding onto him

 

"Does this mean you l-love me?" Steel asked, hugging Rose tight

 

"I wasn't plan on it at first", rose said slightly sadly, & blushing,"but now, you're the first pony not caring I'm a changeling..."

 

"Don't sweat it. I love you, changeling or not." Steel assured her.

 

Rose smiled & nuzzled him, then fell asleep soon after

 

Steel nuzzled her back and fell asleep with one hoof wrapped around Rose

 

A few hours later rose woke up to see steel's leg around her & she chuckled silently & waited

 

Steel slowly woke up and blushed a bit. "Sleep well?" He asked

 

Rose smiled,"very...", she replied happily

 

"Better than usual?" Steel asked

 

Rose blushed slightly, smiling,"y-yes..."

 

"W-why?" Steel implored

 

"I think you know the answer...", rose said, nuzzling him

 

"N-no I don't..." Steel said shakily
