Rose giggled,"the handsome stallion right beside me...", she explained, blushing slightly

 

Steel blushed a lot and cautiously leaned in and gave Rose a quick kiss. "I had a beautiful mare in my dreams. I slept very soundly, thanks to you." Steel admitted

 

Rose smiled & wrapped her forelegs around steel, pulling herself atop him,"that's good to hear...", she said happily

 

"Uh-huh." Steel said with a blush. "We should get moving...but...I think I...want to stay a bit longer..." He sighed happily

 

Rose giggled,"I want gonna let you get up anyways..."

 

Steel blushed. "You weren't?" He asked

 

"Nope", rose said, blushing slightly, then pinned steel's legs to the ground

 

"Woah...hehe...never been pinned down before...I didn't want to move though. Only need to move my neck." Steel said, nuzzling Rose

 

Rose giggled, nuzzled him back, then let off the pin, laying down on steel

 

Steel kissed her cheek. "I've never been loved by anypony before. It feels good..." He sighed happily

 

Rose smiled,"yeah, it feels great to be loved...", then wrapped her forelegs around steel

 

Steel wrapped his forelegs around Rose as well. "I love you, Rose." He said, not stuttering this time

 

Rose smiled wide,"love you too, steel..."

 

"And this isn't a dream?" Steel asked, biting his shoulder. "W-woah...It's...real...you really love me!" He exclaimed, wrapping Rose in an even tighter hug

 

"And you love the real me...", rose said happily, kissing steel

 

"Why wouldn't I? The real you is amazing." Steel said

 

Rose started to blush,"th-thank you...", she said happily, with a huge smile

 

"You're welcome...love. I'll protect you with everything I have." Steel promised

 

Rose giggled softly,"I don't really need protection, I've been in a few fights before..."

 

"I couldn't bear seeing you hurt when I could be the one hurt instead." Steel explained
