"Hmm," Discord pondered, looking at Chrysalis' new form, "While that's certainly convincing, if these ponies are as organised as I think they'll be, they'll notice any extra ponies pretty quickly. Unless they're too busy dealing with something else that is..." He chuckled and skated towards the town, covering the road in soapy water as he had before, meaning to create a diversion. If his improvements had upset the residents of Ponyville before, he imagined the new super-organised residents would find it even more unbearable.
Chrysalis smiles. With Discord's distraction, she could despell the magic here no problem. She soon makes it to the middle of town while other ponies lip and slide around trying to catch Discord. As much as the display was amusing, she had to focus. She puts out the crystal and begins charging power into it. If this goes well, it'll despell the magic gripping this place. If it fails, she could become vulnerable to the magic filling the air. She had to try though. It was their only hope to get help from the Elements.
Discord skated around, turning street lights and houses into random fruit, and occasionally trapping pursuing pegasi in giant soap bubbles. Fun as this was, he could feel himself weakening a little; he looked to the lone pony he knew was Chrysalis working away and hoped she would be successful. With the earth ponies and unicorns closing in, he rose into the clouds, which promptly turned multicoloured.
Chrysalis could feel the crystal almost hitting maximum charge. She just needed a to input a bit more power into it. As it charges, it began to glow till it begins showing an aura. When the glow was bright enough, Chrysalis readies herself. "Good, it's at maximum charge." She raises it up high about Ponyville and she unleashes the magic inside on Ponyville. The unleashed magic shatters the magic covering Ponyville and it lowers to Chrysalis. She looks around to see the ponies halting their chase on Discord. The ponies looked at eachother in confusion and dispersed to all corners of Ponyville. Chrysalis collapses to the ground, losing her disguise. "I-I did it..." She loses consciousness, hoping that it was enough.
Discord felt a definite shift in the air, and noticed the ponies ceasing their pursuit. "Ha! Who needs Twilight and co when we're around, right Chrysalis?" He cheered, looking around for his companion. "Chrysalis?" He noticed her lying on the floor and teleported over in a flash. "Chrysalis? Are you ok?" He asked, looking at her in concern. "Hey look everypony! It's that evil Changeling Queen!" Shouted a pony, pointing angrily in their direction. "Yeah! And that looks like Discord too!" Yelled another. "I bet this was all their doing!" Discord scowled at this insolence, but accepting he was surrounded and weakened, he scooped up the unconscious Chrysalis gently and teleported them both to the safety of Fluttershy's cottage.
Chrysalis later regained consciousness and she tried to get up. "W-Where am I?" She looks around and finds that she is in some sort of cottage. "What the-" Then it hits her. "Where is my crystal?!" She looks around for it, wondering where it may of been.
"You mean this?" Discord asked, holding up the crystal he'd found near the unconscious Queen. "Please calm down; you're safe here, but you've been out for a while." He donned a white doctor's coat. "Tell me, how are you feeling? Anything broken? Can you wiggle your ears?"
Chrysalis then sighs and she gets up. "I'm fine. I don't feel injured or anything. That use of the crystal just drained me pretty bad." She regains her bearings and she looks around again. "Why does it smell like a Zoo in here?" She asks, just now getting a whiff of her environment.
Discord chuckled a little nervously. "This is Fluttershy's cottage, and I admit, her many animal friends do produce a certain... aroma. But please, try and be nice? She can be a little shy..." Discord opened the door of the bedroom and headed downstairs, assuming Chrysalis would follow.
Chrysalis rolls her eyes and follows Discord. She hopes to get this done sooner than later. Celestia is still her main priority. If she has to be all nicey nice to these ponies, so be it. She was just waiting for the scared screams of Fluttershy.
Fluttershy was moving around the room, rearranging bits and pieces; clearly the spell hadn't reversed all the changes... "Ah, Fluttershy! I believe you have meet before, but may I introduce you to Queen Chrysalis; she's the one who broke the spell on Ponyville!"
Chrysalis was less then interested in what's going on and has he mind on other things. She couldn't get her mind off what to do once she has her hooves on Celestia. Though she also began to wonder about what would happen if she fails this... She cringes at the thought.
Fluttershy squeaked something unintelligible and hid behind her sofa. "Um, we... we'll just be on our way then... But you and your friends will do as we discussed? Try and keep any areas we clear free from Celestia's magic?" Discord looked at the sofa, awaiting a response. "We'll take that as a yes then. Come Chrysalis; we have more work to do!" Discord headed out of the cottage.
Chrysalis giggles some at the cute shyness of Fluttershy. She the follows Discord outside. There was work to be done for sure. Celestia's magic was still somewhat gripping the ponies but not to the level that it was before. This means that if it dissipated, she could see that Celestia goes down.
Discord pulled out his map and studied it. The whole map had a pinkish tinge, except the area around Ponyville, which was a bluish colour, indicating it had now been liberated. A tiny Chrysalis and Discord stood next to the marker for Ponyville. "Well then, where to next? I don't think we'll have weakened Celestia enough for a direct assault yet... Maybe Applaloosa? The ponies there may be a little more grateful, and if not, perhaps the buffalo can help us?"
"I suppose. It would be the next closest place according to the map. I still don't know how buffalo will help us though." Chrysalis says, raising a brow, while they read the map. She is curious herself if the Applosans will be more friendly.
"Well, they aren't ponies, so they shouldn't be affected by Celestia's magic; I'm sure we can find some way to make use of that. At the very least we we could make them dance like ballerinas. That would be a good distraction..." Discord said, stroking his goatee in thought.
Chrysalis sighs and facehoofs. "Well, anything to get this underway." She says already sounding inpatient. She would like to break this spell this century and Drop Sunbut before she has control of her and Discord.
"Oh come now; if there isn't time for fun, then we've already lost! But as you wish, underway we shall go..." Discord clicked his talons, and a tunnel appeared in the ground in front of them. He grabbed Chrysalis and jumped into it, where they were carried along at breakneck speed by some unseen force. Moments later, they emerged in the desert, within sight of Applaloosa.
Chrysalis then sighs. "This is more like it. Now to undo Sunbut's magic..." Chrysalis felt a bit odd. She was feeling shorter than normal. "Wait, what the heck?" She looks around.
