I can't be blamed for the ponies that my changelings drag in. Besides, they are fearful of me and I end up throwing them in the dungeon. I have no need for them if you want them back." Chrysalis says mentioning the ones in the dungeon and not the Deep Hive. "Shade, could you be a dear a let the ponies out of the dungeon? Their time here is over." She then looks to Luna. "My apologies for being cross but as I said, things have been very busy around the hive and I couldn't keep track of ponies nor my own changelings if my life depended on it. Shade has been a huge help in that regard. The poor dear has been working her hooves off." She says with some dismay. Shade went to the dungeon in the main hive to free the ponies there that were there. She wasn't sure why but she knew that her Queen must wanna keep good appearances with the royal family of Canterlot. In anycase, the ones in the deep hive were providing the most to the hive anyway. ___ One of the Changeling scouts greets Thunder. "Good to see you back. Just so you are aware, our Queen is being visited by one of the Royal sisters of Canterlot. I'd be in your best interest to take this pony to the Deep Hive in the Hive entrance. Shade will help you from there." He then nods and flies into a tree before getting caught.
The changeling buzzes. "Use your gift to navigate the hive tunnels. Shade will be emitting her thought signal when she is ready for you." He says as he hides in the tree. "Now be gone. I have to keep an eye on things."
(i have it watched :$) "Thank you Chrysi." Lullaby said smiling to her after she ordered the release of the ponies. Luna just remained silent and gave a step back.
thunder nodded and started to make her way there "ugh why are you so heavy" she complained to trace as she entered the hive
(Well the other explanation is that since you were not very active in it, it didn't come up as often.) Chrysalis nods. "I do understand your quarrel with me Luna but trust me, I wish I could do more. Sadly my hive's construction has been the highlight of my day. With a good portion of the hive almost done, I hope some down time will come up to try and fix other issues." She says, not smiling exactly but looking saddened a bit. Shade returns shortly after. "The ponies in the dungeon are out and being sent home. Anything else you wish of me?" Chrysalis shakes her head. "No. You are dismissed." "Actually, could you wait for Thunder at the Deep Hive entrance. She will be arriving soon with our troublesome merchant." Chrysalis mentally says to Shade via hive mind. Shade quietly nods and heads on her way to the entrance of the Deep Hive. ___ One of the changelings in the tunnels, when Thunder got in, was helping lead Thunder to the Deep Hive entrance. He was quiet but he kept a constant mental connection with Thunder via hive mind.

Lullaby looked at them. "I will stay here a while longer, see ya later!" she said to her parents. Luna sighed but nodded. Lullaby smiled and went with Chrysalis. "Hewwo auntie Chrysie." she said smiling,
Chrysalis smiles some. "Grettings. It's nice seeing you again Lullaby. You've grown into a beautiful mare, much like your mother." She says happily. She wasn't certain why Lullaby would stay behind aside from idol conversation. ____ "What is there to talk about? Your suppose to bring this pony to the Deep Hive entrance." He spoke back through the hive mind. He obviously wasn't a conversationalist. It obvious where his loyalties lie. He shows no interest in talking due to some reasons that involve the hive. He only is helping her due to the Queen's orders. Shade could sense Thunder and a worker changeling heading her way. She smiles and even giggles some. She knows the worker is giving Thunder a hard time, as most do. Worker changelings are quiet and loyal to their Queen. They don't take lip or talking lightly, as per their job as workers.
Lullaby giggled. "Thank you aunt."she said smiling. Even though she was.not actually her aunt, she was used to call her like that. She smiled and sat by her side, gently snuggling her. "I sort of missed this."she said smiling
Chrysalis smiles and buzzes softly. "I haven't cuddled with you for sometime. I miss it too..." She says softly. Happy to see Lullaby. I made her happy to know that Lullaby still remembers her. Shade smiles seeing the worker and Thunder approach. "You have done well. You are dismissed changeling." The changeling nods and heads in the other direction. Shade looks to Thunder. "I do hope that he didn't upset you too much. Workers are not exactly the talkative types as you've probably noticed. In anycase, I'll take care of Trace. You can come with me if you like. Chrysalis has no problem with you seeing the Deep Hive." She says with a smile as she uses her levitation on Trace's unconscious body. A magic platform appears over the huge hole in the ground and she steps on it.
When Thunder stepped on the magic platform, it lowered into the dank, dark abyss of the Deep Hive. The only light coming from the magic platform they were on. Shade's eyes were glowing green in the dark and they looked kinda ominous in someway. "The reason the Deep Hive is so dark is because of the testing done down here. Worker Changelings are rarely allowed down here. Myself, My Queen, and a few guards are typically the only ones allowed access at anytime. Don't worry, as long as your with me, there will be no trouble." She says as they come close to the bottom of this seemingly endless hole. Once they hit the bottom Shade steps off and she waits for Thunder. "We are here. Stay close to me and keep track of my thought patterns. As long as you do that, you'll be fine." She says with a eerie unseen smile. The dank atmosphere was unnerving, not to mention how cold it felt down here. It felt almost like somepony was running a industrial air conditioner.

Taffy was stirred awake by... Something. Was somepony down here again? There was no light, so she couldn't be sure, but she felt like she could almost hear something, inside her head... She decided not to call out; whatever was down here obviously wasn't here to see her, and she didn't think the rest of the hive's residents would be as friendly as the strange pony, Shade.
Shade went down the tunnel path and soon they were at the main chamber. Like usual, she lights the lantern and places on the pedestal. The luminescent lights come on. The cocoon room was revealed in all gruesome glory once more. The sudden flash of lights woke up Trace. "Gah... wha- Where am I! Ahhhhhhh!" Shade puts a tighter grip on Trace with he magic. "Sir, I'd like to ask that you stop wiggling. You're aggressiveness will be met with the same." She says in a serious tone. "Piss Off! I owe you nothing! Nothing! You hear me!" Trace exclaimed. Shade's expression sours and she slams him to the ground. "Shut it, pray! Your in my care now! It's best you behave or you will die!" She exclaims. Her anger being a frighting sight. With no more words, she takes the now unconscious Trace to the closest available cocoon for conversion. She writes down all the important information needed on him and she walks over to Thunder. "My apologies for my behavior. It just angers me when subjects misbehave. I try to be friendly, but some will only obey through force." She says with a devious smile. She was certainly 'unhinged', as Taffy put it.
thunder had jumped back as trace was slamed to the ground shade could clearly see that she had scared thunder
Taffy blinked as she watched Shade, surprised by the sudden transformation. She was now glad she'd agreed to taking the serums willingly...
Shade sighs and she looks into Thunders eyes. "I'm very sorry. My temper really does get the best of me sometimes. I'm only mortal honestly." She says, before perking up some. "In anycase, I need to check on one of my subjects before we head back up." She looks to Taffy and heads in her direction. When she was close to the cocoon, she smiles softly seeing Taffy awake. "How are you fairing? I hope I didn't scare you too much. As long as you are obedient, you'll never see me like that again." Shade says with a knowing smile. She then looks to her clipboard for Taffy's information before doing a preliminary check up. She looks over the cocoon and looks at Taffy carefully. It seems she and the cocoon are doing fine. She writes it down and smiles in a over-joyous way. "It looks like things check out here. Is there anything you need? Please let me know, otherwise I'll be back later." Shade says softly to Taffy, in a happy tone. No trace of her anger was present at all.
