thunder nodded her heart was thudding in her chest but she was visibly calmer she then followed shade to taffy and read her chat over shades shoulder looking for a name 'taffy' it read "um...hi taffy" she said looking up at the mare in the cocoon
"Um..." Taffy thought about it, and realised that she was fine; she wasn't even hungry or thirsty. That was odd; it had been hours since her last meal, hadn't it? She assumed that whatever else her cocoon was doing, it was also providing her with sustenance. "Ah don't think so Ma'am, only... Ah feel like Ah'm hearin' somethin', even when nopony's talkin'; is that normal?" She almost laughed as she asked that; as if anything about this was normal... She blinked in surprise again as a head appeared over Shade's shoulder and said her name. "Uh... Hi..." She said, "D'you live here too?" The pony sure didn't look like shade, but why else would a pony be walking around freely down here?
Shade smiles. "Good. Your hive mind and sensory are kicking in. Yes, it's normal to hear voices of the hive." She says happily. "You'll get use to it overtime. I sure did, it's fun to listen to other thoughts. Hehehehehe~" She admits joyously. Shade then notices Thunder looking over her and smiles. She steps aside some and listens as they talk. This was nice to see. Maybe she could still do somethings with new information she sees.
"Pleased t' meet ya, Thunder..." Taffy said, still confused, after nodding at what Shade had said. So this pony wasn't part of the hive? What was she doing there? Should she ask her for help? ...Did she even want to be helped? Taffy pondered for a moment, then asked: "So, uh... you're here voluntarily?" She glanced nervously at Shade, hoping she wasn't talking out of line.
thunder nodded "ya im here voluntarily...in fact i found out my grandmother, on my dads side, is chrysalis" she said actualy happy about that
"Oh," She supposed that made asking for help out of the question... "So.. You're a changelin'?" She asked.
thunder shook her head from side to side "eh...kinda im half changling....i think..." she told her as she sat down
Shade smiles as Thunder and Taffy talk. This was pivotal after all. They could learn things from eachother, maybe they could mentally talk eventually. It was all so interesting to her. She just smiles deviously as they talked, even if it was small talk.
Shade then decides to intervene. "I hate to cut this short but Taffy will need more rest before her next administration of serum. We can return later to see how she is doing." She says to Thunder with a big smile. "Besides, I need to make sure Trace cannot leave easily anyway. I'll deal with him later."
"Um, yeah..." Taffy said. "Ah do feel a bit sleepy..." She didn't really, but she wasn't sure what to say to this pony; she still wasn't really sure how she felt about being there...
Shade smiles and nods. "Come, Thunder. Let us leave so she can rest." She heads for the pedestal and takes the lantern, blowing out the light inside. The place falls dark once again and she leaves through the tunnel, hoping Thunder was right behind her.
(Sorry if I hadnt answered. Exams are statring.) Lullaby smiled to Chrysalis as she cuddled her. "I sort if miss it too." She said smiling. "But it was easier before since I was smaller." She said giggling.aa she let Chrysalis go and sat by her side.
Chrysalis giggles and smiles. "Well those were simpler times for all of us. Though with my own age, the work loads around have taken their toll. I'm not the young mare that I was." She says with some somberness. Shade leads Thunder out into the way out. A magic platform appears and she steps on it with Thunder. They both are brought up to the main hive where things are a bit brighter with the luminescent mushrooms.
"Awww... you are not that old. Mother and aunt can be, but you still not." Lullaby then replied smiling to Chrysalis after she said that,
