Lady Rose thought long and hard, then came to a decision. Soon after, Percy exited, head hanging low, with a badge in one hand and a stake in the other. Lady Rose soon followed after. "Please, gather around for the public extermination of a traitor." Percy handed Ella's badge and the stake to Ella. He dropped to his knees and sighed. "Ella, would you do the honors?" Lady Rose asked, once the House came to watch,
Ella looked down at the badge and stake, her knuckles were a brighter white and her hands trembled as she contemplated the situation. "Is this really happening?" she thought. Tears began to well up in here eyes. "Can I really go through with this? Is it really worth it?" She looked down the kneeling Percy, hoping to get a reaction or message from him.
Percy winked and smiled. "Yeah. You need to not live on." he said. "Just do it. You're strong. Fix my mistakes. Just do it." Percy sighed, and stuck his chin in the air. "Right in the heart. You can do it."
Ella continued to look down at Percy through her tears. She looked back over at the badge and stake in her hands, then up at Lady Rose. She watched her for a couple of seconds, feeling her tears dry up. She regained her composure before looking back down at Percy, dropping the badge and stake. "No, Lady Rose... I can't..."
Percy sighed. "Damn. Since I figured the plan wasn't gonna work anyways..." Percy took the stake, and jumped behind Lady Rose, pointing the stake at her heart. "Everybody down! Now!" he commanded.
"Get up, Ella. We're taking charge is what we're doing. I was going to vanish using smoke pellets, but I guess I won't. You had to go and cry." he responded, chuckling. "Now, this needs to change." Percy plunged the stake into Lady Rose's heart, and she turned to smoke and ash. "Now, me and Ella here are your new leaders, got that?" Percy bellowed.
Ella jumped up, dusting herself. "Uh... Yeah, yeah, we're here to take charge and make changes!..." She leans over whispering into Percy's ear. "Is that seriously what happens when we get stabbing in the heart?"
"I have no idea." Percy responded. The House all stood and cheered, calling "long live Percy and Ella". Percy paused and sighed. "Well, we did kill her, so by our law, we are the leaders." he whispered back.
"Well, I'm makin' a council, then." Percy decided. "One ruler should never command the entire house." he said.
"So, I'm guessing Rose didn't have that good fortune..." Ella held out her hand for a handshake. "By your orders and commendation, sir."
Percy shook her hand. "Yeah. The sun is rising, so we really should be off to our rooms for the day." he said, looking through a window. "We'll begin business matters once the sun sets."
Ella nodded, walking back to her room and closing the blinds before flopping down on the bed. She fell fast asleep, her mind exhausted from today's events.
Percy made his way to the leader's bedroom and slipped into the bed. When he awoke, he made his way to the new confrence room where three other people awaited him. Narrow-leaf, the last living survivor of an ancient tribe, a wise old woman named Natalia, and a large, hulking warrior known as Lord Vlad Von Drake. "As soon as Ella arrives, we shall begin." Natalia explained. "Come, take a seat."
Ella yawned and stretched as she woke up, her stomach growling out of hunger. "Ugh... I really need to, but can I?..." She got from her bed and walked down to the conference room, taking the closest seat. "So, what's on the agenda?"
"We are discussing battle plans... Something about "The Clan of the Silver Moon"" Percy mumbled, yawning. "Yeah... They killed a bunch of our scouts and spies. Are vamp's able to drink coffee or energy drinks or something?" he asked, recieving two head shakes from Narrow-Leaf and Natalia. "But, yeaaah... Squashin' those vamp's..."
Her ears peaked up a little. "Oh. Another vampire clan? What's the battle strategy?" She asked, trying to hide her hunger.
Percy rolled his eyes, and slid a blood bag on the floor to Ella. "The plan is so strike back. We traced them to an an old shipping area. Our main target is to plant a bomb in the center of the district, and blow everything and one to dust." He paused, and took a breath. "Now, we plan to strike when our we're ready. We kinda overslept."
Ella slipped the blood bag between her feet, trying not to squish it. "So, just plant a bomb and kill everyone, regardless of affiliation?"
