I guess so, I never knew it was called that. I just knew it as egg cooked inside toast :derpe: Like I said, I saw it in V for Vendetta and decided to try it myself lol. Anyway, so I found this happy little fellow the other day, Spoiler: image I promptly cut him up and bolied 'im.
Here's a good tutorial on hotdog-making. Anyways, I'm a directions reading guy nowadays. I can't go back to when I was a small boy. It was a dark time... I do love makin' waffles using MY waffle iron.
yep, just put them in a bowl and squish it around a bit - when the beans get broken they are sticky enough that they hold together - the bread is just there for filler and to absorb some of the excess moisture. bean burgers are a favorite of mine because im actually a vegetarian, but im a lazy one with not a lot of money - these are really cheap and quick to make since they consist of literally bread, beans, and spices (not exactly luxury items).
Okay, I've read this recipe eight times, and I think that you may have forgotten a step. When do you add the meat? This IS a burger recipe, is it not?
Burgers are supposed to be made out of meat. This concept of "veggie burger" confuses and infuriates me!
This is my burger recipe: Mix 2 lbs beef, 1 lb lamb, and 1 lb veal. (For best results, use organic.) Form into twelve 1/3 lb patties and season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Grill to medium rare over a mixture of hardwood charcoal and whisky barrel chips. Top with your favorite fixins' and enjoy.
Does sound really good. Im not vegetarian, but i love to eat vegetarian stuff as a side dish while barbecuing (is that even a word?!)... and a friend of mine made something similar once and it tasted great! Need to try them
Anyone here have experience with peppers? Normally when I make my chili I spice it with sliced habaneros, but lately my local market's habaneros have been green instead of orange. I assume that means they aren't ripe. Is it still okay to buy and use them if I ripen them in my own kitchen, or should I just skip them and buy somewhere else?
I googled it. Apparently the green ones are not as ripe, you can still use them and they will ripen in your kitchen, but they will not be as hot nor taste as good as vine ripened. P.S. - There are forums for pepper growers and aficionados. And people call us weird. xD
I wish I knew how to grow my own food, lol. It'd be like printing my own money. Maybe one day. Guess for now I'll just go someplace where the peppers are ripe and fresh though. Hope I don't have to go too far. *does not know what shops are in her own town* I don't think it's weird. Then again my standards might be a little warped. I mean, I'm here aren't I. XD
