Stardust had to tell her, now more than ever. She just couldn't keep it locked away inside any longer. "Um, Charlie? I-I have to tell you something... something personal... " Charlie could feel Stardust's heart pounding against her.
"I'm confused and scared, Charlie... I know I shouldn't, but I want to love you. My brain is telling me no, but my heart is telling me yes." Stardust confessed, gazing at her.
Charlie blinked, she thought back to Red who was at home probably but she also thought about the caring personality of Stardust. Sure Red was a great colt friend but Stardusk treated Charlie way better. Charlie blinked once and the next moment seem to happen so fast, Charlie brought Stardust close and kissed her with all she's got.
Charlie pulled away reliesing she might have over done the kiss. She blushed, "Sorry, didn't mean it to go like that." she fluttered her eyes and lowered her head
Stardust blushed, "I-it's okay... I-I enjoyed it..." She said, nervously scratching at the ground. Stardust moved closer to her and nuzzled her cheek, "I'll always l-love you... no matter what..." She touched her hoof gently, and kissed her cheek.
Now it was Charlie's turn to blush, "Oh, I-I love you too." It felt wierd to say those words, she never even said it to Red. "I've never said those words before and really meant it." she shyly admitted.
"I wish I could look at you right now." Charlie blinked her blind eyes. "instead I have to use my imagination which I guess is about the same." she tried to laugh at her poor joke.
Stardust giggled, "I wish you could see, too..." She said softly. Thoughts of a family popped into her head, but she shook them away quickly. No! Now's not the time for that!
Charlie tilted her head slightly to the side, "Are you ok?" Her ears scanned the room, only total silence floated in the room, far to quiet for Charlie's liking.
"No, please tell me." Charlie pulled Stardust close she buried her face in Stardust mane. "Please tell me." She pleaded.
Stardust gave in, and kissed her lovingly, "Some thoughts were going through my head about... starting a family... with you..." She whispered.
"Your willing to start a family with.. Me?" she blushed lightly suprised a little. "But why me? Im a blind mare with maybe a career."
"Because I love you, Charlie... I really do..." Stardust said, stroking her mane, "And I don't care if you're blind or not, it just makes your musical talent that much more amazing." She caressed her cheek gently with her lips.
Stardust leaned in close, their lips almost touching, "Y-yes... I do..." She whispered, tears flowing from her eyes.
Charlie closed the distance and kissed her. As their lips touched, Charlie could see all the good in the world again but when she pulled it away it was gone.
