Star would've ran but the monster was suddenly upon her, and she froze with fear. Run! Run! Come on legs, move! I-I don't want to die like this... I d-don't want to d-die... The monster closed in, just a yard away now... it opened it's jaws, revealing rows of razor-sharp, two-foot long carnivorous teeth. Charlie was too far to do anything helpful, so all she could do was either watch... or die with her newfound friend...
Star turned back towards her and mouthed the words "help me". Then the creature lunged, but before it got to her, a large metallic figure bum rushed it and knocked it away. The figure sped towards both mares and scooped them up, speeding off into the distance. --- Hours later, they arrived at an old, rusted-out garage that was somehow very sturdy. Almost immediately after they entered the door, a literal lightning storm (thousands of bolts of lightning impacting the ground, around 5000 per second in a 3-mile radius) began pouring down outside. The bipedal machine set them down and closed the door. It put Stardust's unconscious body on a bed and patiently waited next to Charlie, looking down at her.
Charlie felt smaller then always and she coward away from the thing before her. She made a small squeal as the staring grew more intense.
The mech had bright blue eyes, and it was standing on two back-bent legs. It bristled with weaponry that it promptly retracted when it noticed Charlie backing away. It has 24 long, silver tentacle-like appendages coming out of its armless chest area. It turned towards her and there were some letters and numbers written on it. "BH342-GF34C-32AA Elite Executioner". On its chest plate, a name was scratched in the armor: "Krysis". When it heard the squeal, it turned towards her and crouched down, trying to appear unthreatening.
Krysis stared at the ground, then looked at her, as if trying to speak. Only one word escaped the mech's vocalizer: "Mom-my?" It said in a young filly's voice.
The mech nodded and moved a little closer, "Mom-my...?" She said again. Krysis inched a little closer, now only a few feet from where Charlie was.
"Umm no i-im sorry im not" Charlie was still backing up and finally met the wall. She could hear her heart break for having to tell the robot the truth
The mech stopped and continued staring at her. "No. You are mommy. Mommy made me." Krysis began showing a hologram of the process of building Krysis' main processor. The mare in the video looked identical to Charlie. A DNA scan proved it as well. "See mommy?"
"I c-cant be" Charlie shook her head, no way was she a mom atleast not to a robot. "I don't remember any of this" Charlie couldn't think straight as she racked her brain. (Isnt this the robot from Free? Shouldn't Angel be the mother?)
Krysis bent down and nuzzled her. "I love my mommy..." (If Free would've been continued, you would have found out that Ghost was making hundreds of "Krysis"-series Mechs and Krysis is the name of the 5 successes, which Ghost would've renamed but there were... complications... The blueprints for others have gotten into others' hooves... such as Charlie's, but creating one correctly takes a part of the maker's soul and binds it in the machinery... Muahahaha...)
(Charlie did nit sign up for this!!) Charlie froze, she was speechless. If it wasn't for the dark abyss outside she would be running straight in her coltfriend's arms. Charlie thought back to Red and how he's probably in his house playing Charlie's favorite tune. Tears began to blur Charlie's eyes.
Charlie shook her head again, she stayed pressed against the wall, not daring to move a single muscle so she wouldnt collapse.
When Krysis spoke, she sounded like she was about to cry, "I-I'm sorry m-mommy... I'm r-really sorry..." Krysis opened the door and prepared to step outside into the lethal storm.
Charlie shut her eyes tight scared to death, finally she relaxed. "No stop stay inside" she kept her eyes closed, "i-i.." Charlie opened her eyes and her once green eyes were now a golden color. Her amulet started the glow again and wind began to whip around her and through her mane. She legged just a few inches off the ground but slowly landed back down. The wind finally died and Charlie fell to her knees. She was exhausted from the sudden vision that took over her mind. "S-sorry." She said weakened
