"Oh no... th-this is bad. You sure you don't feel anything? How about now?" Stardust asked worriedly, pressing on where a wound should've been. Charlie's skin slowly started to split, spilling even more blood. Krysis crouched down, and fell over. Her eyes flickered, then went out. A reddish liquid oozed out of Krysis' rocket-wound.
Stardust wiped a tear away and grabbed a welding torch, some scrap metal, and a small toolbox, "I-I'll see what I can do..." She whispered, and climbed into the hole. Moments later Krysis' eyes lit back up and she let out a low moan.
Charlie wasn't crying, was she really that cold? Charlie stood awkwardly to the side unsure what she should do.
"Ouch! ...Hey, Charlie? Can you get me the blowtorch fuel, please?... Ow!" Stardust asked, poking her head out. She was covered in burns and reddish fluid. Cuts had formed all over her face and neck, and they looked painful.
Charlie nervously handed over the fuel and quickly backed away again. "I'm not rly good help.. I I." She made her self shut up.
"Yeouch!" Stardust yelped, as she almost turned her face into a black crisp, "I haven't done this in a while..." She confessed, "Hey, I need you over here. Please, Charlie?"
"Um..." Star held out her hooves, they were bloody and covered in cuts, " A second pair of hooves would be nice..." She said, crawling out if Krysis' body. "Shh, go to sleep Krysis, ok?"
"Oh, don't worry, you'll do fine." Star said reassuringly. "Thanks, Charlie... it's only fitting for Krysis' creator to save her life." Stardust blushed embarrassedly, "I-I'm sure you've noticed I know more than I should about these 'machines'... -Hold that there, thank you- You and her are connected because you built her with love and compassion, not hate and anger." Stardust looked into Charlie's eyes, "You made her, and bound part of your soul to her. When she got hurt, you did too. If she dies... so do you. If you die... she'll go on a killing spree..." Stardust said that last part very quietly, and went back to work.
"Your memory was wiped... by me..." Stardust gave her a pitiful look, "I'm really sorry... do you remember the pain?" She finished sealing up the hole and Krysis instantly jumped up, her eyes glowing brightly in the dimly lit area.
"I didnt sign up for this!" Charlie snapped, the pony who didnt seem to know her before somehow knew her before all of this.
"I didn't sign up for this either! Do you think I enjoy being in this godforsaken place!? No! I bucking hate it here! You just arrived, but I've been here for a month! A bucking month!!!" Stardust stopped herself, before things got out of control. She slumped down on the floor and cried, "Why?" Charlie heard her say, "Why does everypony hate me so much...?"
Charlie rolled her eyes and exit the door into the storm grumbling under her breath, She tapped her amulet several times and a portal opened up before her. She wasnt one to normally run away but she just had to leave this bucking place. With the portal opened she grabbed a corner and moved it around till it was showing the front door to her home. "Finally.."
(Oh no you don't! No one gets out of the Void! >) The amulet was suddenly struck by a thick bolt of lightning, and shattered. The pieces all crumbled into dust, save for a lone shard attached to the necklace. The force from the explosion sent Charlie flying backwards and she hit the wall with a sickening *crack*. Suddenly, the platform the trio was on plummeted like a runaway elevator... Impacting the ground hard and making a loud *boom*.
(NOT FAIR!>_>) Charlie cursed and tried to get up, her back was in total pain from the impact. She felt a couple of tears ur down her back, all she wanted was just to go home! Why couldn't things just go right for her today.
"Ow... are you alright, Charlie?" Star asked, carefully getting up and badly limping towards her. Krysis got up, and followed. "What's wrong?" Star asked, rubbing her eyes, one of which was absent.
Charlie turned her head away and hid her face in her ratted mane. Charlie was a small pony and most ponies thought she was weak when really she tried to be strong the best she could. This one of The few times she gives up acting tough.
