Stardust and Levi followed her, "Hey! W-wait up!" Stardust called. They found a massive vault door and they opened it to find a winter wasteland. A blizzard was raging, almost freezing them instantly. "We'll never make it out there! We need thermal gear, or something..." She said, shutting the vault door quickly.
Charlie grumbled and moved to the next vault to the right and opened it. This time it was scorching dessert, hardly anypony would survive.
"Um... try again?" Stardust asked, very confused. Levi grew to about the size of an average pony, and began twisting knobs and dials. The door opened slowly... revealing a strange world shrouded in darkness, and lit up by fluorescent plant life. Low moans and growls echoed as they stepped through. The vault door slammed shut behind them, unable to be opened again. <Charlie, Stardust... Welcome... to The Dark...> Levi said, returning to his smaller size, and scampered through a ventilation shaft, disappearing.
Charlie felt like screaming at this point but she took care of it by kicking the vault door behind her. "Where do you think your going?" she said in a slight snarl.
Stardust grabbed Charlie, "Snap out of it! Please! He's going to find a way out, and he'll tell us when he does, alright?" Stardust hugged her then started down the pathway. "Come on, we have to stick together," She said softly.
Charlie grumbled something harsh but no pony heard it. With her head down with annoyance she followed behind. "I don't trust that midget monster.."
Stardust jumped back from a vent, "D-did you see that!?" She screamed, horrified. The mood of the place was eerie, and quite unsettling.
"See what?" Charlie didn't see anything, literally. Her vision began to blur till total darkness took over her eyes. "Stardust?" she moved forward cautiously. "I can't see anything." she stuttered.
"Charlie?" Stardust accidentally bumped into Charlie's flank. She stayed there for a moment, then she realized what she was touching. "Oh my goodness! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" She apologized frantically, still unsure of where Charlie was.
"I cant see anything." the amulet began to glow as it cleared the room but it only fixed Stardust's eye sight and not Charlie's. "What just happened?" she ran into a metal wall.
"A-are you blind!? I can see... somewhat..." Stardust hugged her, and guided her towards a steel door.
Charlie held her hoof out so she wouldnt run into any other wall, "I think so." Stardust could see that Charlie's eyes had gone a ghost like color. "Where are you?"
"Oh no..." Stardust pulled Charlie into an affectionate hug, "I-I'm so sorry..." she said, crying, "Y-your eyes... they're white... I'm so sorry"
"It's fine just don't worry about it, worry about wat the heck is going on." she didn't mean to snap at Stardust but there's something more important then her eye sight.
"Where are we??" she hit her head on a low pipe and grumbled. "atleast I don't need my eyes for my career.."
