Yo Drath here again, (though you all probably don't even know me xD.) I just wanted to post a thread just generally discussing the Metal Gear Solid saga. (Since iv'e literally just finished the fourth and apperently last game in the series.) Anyone who has played it through probably knows what i mean when i say Naked Snake's speech to Solid Snake really touched me deeply. I always liked the series because of its complex story line and how the game isn't like other the other war games in where if someone dies then there's only at the most a 2 minute long mourning for them. Whenever some one died in that series it usually affected everyone and you lost some abilities or info that were related to the person, in other words the game had consequences for your's and other's actions. All in all, IMO, MGS is a legacy to not only Espionage games but also war games in general. What're your guys thoughts and opinions on the game. There is no wrong answer and I will not judge you (and hopefully nopony else will either)
Ah, Metal Gear, how fantastically insane that series is.....good thing it's not over! http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/08/30/metal-gear-solid-ground-zeroes-unveiled
Um. It's still going it seems
I never really liked MGS games. They're actually fun to play for a while, but i always get bored of the gameplay halfway through. Maybe Metal Gear Rising will be different... ~Moved to Games~
Wow i didn't see that trailer before. That's pretty awesome, I thought that MGS4 was the end cause there wasn't much else that they could add on. Guess i was wrong.
Metal Gear Solid 4 is just the ending of the series where Snake is concerned. As for the speech Big Boss gave to Snake, I cried. A lot. I even saluted Big Boss. As for the final boss, I loved it. Had health bars and music from each main series game, and liquid changed his fighting style to match a different character from each game.
