"Basel, come on," she said sternly, taking his hand. "I let you look at my blood, now you need to sleep."
She tugged gently. "My blood disintegrated..." She paused before blinking. "Oh. Right. It does that when I leave."
He looked up at her for a moment before standing up and crossing the room, wrapping his arms around her. "Thank you for caring."
She seemed extremely surprised by this, jerking her head up in surprise and her hands awkwardly hovering as she stood stiffly. After a moment, though, she relaxed slightly and hugged in back, albeit still nervous. "It's alright. Are you okay, Basel?"
He laughed slightly. "Same thing as every other day. I'm alone and nobody cares about me. The crew would still function with my absence."
