He squinted before beginning to gently nudge her out.
She grabbed the broom. "No.."
"Go sleep, drunky."
"I'm not drunk. I can sleep after."
He sighed, looking softer than she had seen him recently. "Please, Jules? Let me do this."
She frowned, hesitating. "At least let me help."
"Nah, I'm basically done."
"All the more reason."
"Juliet, I will tell Stephanie that you got drunk last night. I'll do it."
"Okay, but so did you."
"She knows that. Come on, Jules, let me do something nice."
She seemed reluctant, but finally sighed. "Okay.."
He nodded, looking relieved. "Good. Go sleep."
She squinted at him before leaving.
