Intrude watched him for a moment. "Of course. I respect you enough to make that promise." she sighed. "Even though I dislike you Soldier," she said, hating the malice in her voice, though it was necessary for the cameras, "I know that you are a pony who can amount to something. Let's leave it at that."
Julion nodded, "Now let's see what's in this bag. Let's see, two canteens, a bottle of iodine capsules, a sleeping bag, some rope, some rolls of duck tapeTrollestia, and a compass." he looked up with a smile on his face, "Talk about overkill, they could have just filled it with duck tape and we would have been even more set!"
omg: That is... Wow. )She laughed slightly, and used her magic to raise herself to the shield she had place from the evil mare. "Hmm... I can't hear anything.."
Julion picked up a spear and poked his head and, looking around, eyes red, "Nope, nothing." he reported back to Intrude, "Come on, let's disguise this cave's mouth even better."
She floated up to a nearby tree. "Here.." she said, pulling off a leaf mirror. "Pass me the duck tape. TrollestiaWe'll get this done in no time."
Julion nodded and floated up some duck tape, "This will be fun!" Within an hour, they had used about a roll of their three covering the entrance to the cave and making some hidden duck tape traps around it. Julion looked around at their work and was proud, "This is good, this is good!" he said.
Intrude looked at him seriously. "Yes, Soldier. Duck Tape is very, very good..." She laughed, and then was ACTUALLY serious. "What if somebody find it? What should we do then? We should have a safety exit." While they were talking, Aqua crept slightly towards them. She lost Facade in the beginning, and now she was wandering aimlessly. She had heard voices.
Julion was about to reply when he picked up something shattering a mirror leaf. Picking up his spear, face instantly turning from mildly friendly to dangerous and deadly as he approached with his spear, eyes slipping red, "Intrude, make whomever that was come out." he whispered.
Intrude's horn glowed, and a small, blue mare with a wave like hairdo stepped out, quivering like a leaf.
Julion's spear leveled with the pony's head, Julion not even asking any questions, his eyes just slipped into their red form and he broke into the pony's mind, throwing open everything about her to him, but he was efficient, and only looked at the ones about why she was there. Julion finally finished, satisfied that it wasn't to kill them, just curiosity, "Ever heard the phrase, 'Curiosity killed the cat'?" he asked, only to be followed by the sounds of cannon fire, marking all the deaths at the Cornucopia.
The mare tried to talk, but she couldn't as Julion now knew. Her vocal cords were damaged long ago. The cannon rang 7 times, and then stopped. Julion felt that the Mare was worried about her District partner. In fact, a huge flow of images had gone through his head when he looked. She had been keeping everything there, never letting anything go. There were common images that she though about a lot, like a terrible fire, and one filled with sadness, a small filly with light grey eyes. Everything was there.
Julion looked to Intrude, "What are we going to do? She propably isn't going to last very long elsewhere, and in probably not as...merciful of a...you know than what we can do."
Intrude thought for a moment. "Let see what she can do." Intrude's horn glowed, and Aqua's eyes turned white. Her horn glowing, the ground shook for miles, and a huge wave started to sweep through. It stopped after half a minute, and Aqua's horn stopped glowing. She fell to the ground, gasping for air. Intrude pursed her lips, and walked over to the mare. "I'm sorry." she murmured, as if to a small child. Which wasn't far off. Aqua was probably fifteen at very most. Intrude watched her for a moment, then turned to Julion. "We seemed to have underestimated her. What should we do?"
Julion chewed his lip, the last thing they needed was another mouth to feed in a game called the HUNGER Games, but there is also potential benefits, and their accompanying consequences. "If she wants, let's let her stay, but only for the next five kills."
Intrude nudged Aqua. "Didja hear that?" she asked, though not unkindly. Aqua nodded, and shook her head. Her District partner, Julion heard. "Brother." was in her thoughts. She couldn't accept. However, she would rather them be friends then enemies.
"Don't lie to me." Julion said in Aqua's head, "Remember, I can see everything you have ever done and read every thought you have ever had."
In her head, she frowned. "I just was worried that you would say something out loud. If I were to tell you the truth, which you know, I might lose my cover. But I can tell you that I do not want to fight with anyone this early. I do actually think my District counterpart is a good person, and I thought he might be here. I lost him in the beginning. I wondered if he needed help, if it was him."
Heverin, Disrict 3 Heverin, a pony from District 3, worked at what was known as the Rainbow Factory. She went to the reaping where the Peacekeepers pushed her around. After all, nopony really liked her, except for a pony who worked on electric instruments, whose name was Altonia, and a weapon working pony name Skullduggery. The caller searched through the mare's names, and picked one out. She opened it up and cleared her throat. "Ahem. Altonia Orche. I repeat, Altonia Orche. Please come up!" Heverin stood there in shock. This couldn't be happening, one of her only friends, was going into the Hunger Games. She started crying, but nopony noticed. Finally, she ran up to Altonia and hugged her. One of the Peacekeepers whipped her. She couldn't stand it. She'd rather die than lose a friend. She swallowed hard, and spoke up. "I- I, Heverin," she shed a tear. "I, Heverin, v- volunteer as tribute. I volunteer as tribute." Altonia screamed out, "No! Don't do this! You- you just can't!" The caller said,"Of course she can, perhaps you need a rule book young mare?" Altonia backed away, then started to run towards the crowd, sobbing. Heverin pawed her hoof at the ground. She walked to the stage, the Peacekeepers crushing her by holding her tight. The caller did the same with the stallions. "Skull Duggery." She said it like it was two words. 'He doesn't have a last name' Heverin thought. Then she realized, "Skullduggery? No, no, I'll have to kill him, no, somebody volunteer! Please, I'll do anything!!!" Everypony looked at her. She backed away, in shame, and pawed her hoof at the stage. The Peacekeepers pushed her forward and he faceplanted, in front of everypony! They all laughed. Se stood back, looked away and started to sob.

Aqua stood up with dignity, and trotted away. She managed a small backwards wave, and disappeared in the forest.
