Facade winced and looked down. "I'll be the first to admit I am not the strongest Pony in the world. I can run, and dig, so my muscles aren't to under developed. However, I won't be swinging a broadsword any time soon. Aqua?"
"And I probably would feel awful, if the Peacekeeper training hadn't beaten it out of me." Julion replied, he suddenly came up with an idea, "When we get into the arena, when we are standing on those platform things, don't go for the big Cornucopia, leave that to me. I'll rush in, grab some weapons, and rush out. If anypony threatens me, I can just mind-hack them. You should wait somewhere safe nearby were you can watch from and help if needed. If I can't find you once we are inside, listen for this..." Julion then whistled a 5 tone note that rose and fell quickly, "It's used in the Peacekeepers when communication can't be done and they need a way to get their bearings compared to the others." he explained.
Aqua She blinked and thought for a moment, and then mimed swimming. Her arms and legs were moderately strong. - - Auto Merge - - Intrude: "But won't the whistle kinda blow our story?"
"I see...An avid swimmer. Makes sense. She is stronger then I am for sure then. Aqua, if I may suggest something, downplay that skill. To the public I'm going to need to look stronger then you to protect you. It'll take the others by surprise when you can handle yourself down in the arena anyhow."
"Trust me, I can make it sound relaxed. But you bring a valid point." Julion said, "We have exactly one week until the games once we arrive at the Capitol, so we better come up with something."
Aqua: She nodded. Yes. That would be important. The mentor continued. "When you are in the arena, you will most likely be outside, so adapt to that too. In training, work on survival Aqua. Facade, work for more physical stuff." - - Auto Merge - - Intrude: She frowned and her horn lighted up with a dark light so she could see clearly. "Weren't we deciding that we hated each other, until the games, and we were forced to team up?
"Excellent! Now...The last bit. This is vital. If I'm going to speak for you I need to know your history, strength, weakness, regrets. Everything."
"That would be correct." Julion said nodding, "But I guess this can wait for a little while as what we need to do is figure out is how we will act on camera. My idea for myself will be going for the whole 'Not-your-average-career' thing along with an attempt to be likable. You?"
Intrude: She laughed. "While I'm not the nicest pony, I can manage to be slightly kind. I'm thinking of going for determined, y'know, the whole brother thing." Aqua: The ground squeaked. Aqua frowned and wrote, "Well, I trust you, so if you say so.. When I was a filly, my house errupted in flames. I got out. My family didn't. I've always been intimidated by fire since then. I can control water deep within the earth, and regrets... Well, I wish I could have saved my family. I wish I had been mature enough to put out the fire. I have a lot of them.."
"Good, well, you better get used to the camera, because we are going to be watched every waking moment once we arrive in the Capitol." Julion said, then yawned, "Well, I need to get some rest, I would suggest for you to do the same, these last days might be the last good-night's sleep we ever have." he said before heading back inside.
Intrude thought for a moment. Then, she turned, and quietly walked back into the car to sleep. District 9 reaping Sun woke up at the sunset, as her special talent made her do. She leaped out of bed and stretched.
As Dark Willow arose from his sleep, he realized what time it was that day. He floated his amulets onto his bracelets and prepared for who ever would be chosen. He sighed. Another reaping. Just any other day, but with opportunity! He thought about it for a moment. He heard that if you won you go up in ranks, with the chance of dying. He decided. He would just sit back and laugh at the poor saps who would get chosen.
Sun shot like a bullet out of bed. She ran outside and sat for a little while. Her eyes closed. She wasn't breathing. She need to gather the sun beams.
He heard the rings of the bell and went to where the reaping was taking place. Silently laughing to himself, he thought of how it would be like for ones who were chosen. This, he thought, is going to be the best one yet.
Sun blasted to the square. Her demenor was serious. Her face was somber. She wanted it to be over as fast as possible. Pink Pushie leaped onto the podium. "Welcome, Welcome. First, we have a special message from the Capitol!" "Boring..." thought Sun, rolling her eyes. (I'm out. Night!)
Dark finally walked into the square as Pinkie had already started talking. "I love this time of year," Dark said to himself. Excitement flowed throughout Dark. The fighting and bloodshed made him happy. Dark used some dark magic to see who might be chosen. Pieces of it came together. Although he was terrible at checking future, he got one word: Sun. Maybe it would be in a Sun-bleached desert? Oh well. He'll have to find out like everypony else.
The movie quickly ended, and Pink Pushie hopped up. "Mares first!" she trilled. Pulling her hand into the ball, she pulled out one name. "Sun Blast!" she called. Sun was quiet. She took a deep breath and quickly walked to the podium. She wished they'd hurry up and choose already. "Now, the stallions," said Pink Pushie cheerfully. "Dark Willow!" squealed Pink clearly.
Damn. They chose him after all. He started to walk towards the podium. "That's what Sun was huh? This will be cake," he mumbled. Dark looked at Sun. An orange unicorn with a radical hair style. He enjoyed it.
