Dark Willow saw what had happened and sat with an amazed look on his face. "This pony is full with surprises," mumbled Dark.
"Well I am terrible at hoof-to-hoof combat, but i can take down a stallion or two if i want," Dark bragged. "I normally just use shadows to take ponies down."

Dark gave a sigh. He hated going hoof-to-hoof combat. It makes it easy for melee to get him. "Where do i train?" he asked the stallion.

Iron was sleeping in his make-shift bed surrounded by wood shavings and the scent of pine trees until his alarm clock had rang and broke him out of his sleep he scrambled out of bed and used his magic to stop the alarm. Iron yawned deeply and walked over to the bathroom he looked at the picture of his family he looked away and splashed cold water over his face to get him awake Iron looked at the calender and shook his head today was the reaping. "Come on what are the chances that I would be chosen I never got food I always traded my items to get food!" Iron said trying to re insure himself he put on his good clothes looked at the small room and then again at his family and started to head towards school.
Sun: "Two days." said the Stallion. Eluuna: The sweet smell of the bakery woke Eluuna, as it always did. She set to work. She needed 16 cakes for her close families. Working quickly, she soon had the cakes. Putting on her coat and hat, she went out in the early sun. Once she put them outside the houses, she had two extra. Strange. Noticing a pony walking, she trotted up to him. "Hello."
Iron looked over his shoulder to see the baker girl but he noticed she looked happy which made him confused "Oh hello their I have seen you a couple of times and traded with you also to get some food from you but we never exchanged names I am Vinal Adar but you can call me Iron," he said, "But I am confused why do you look happy you know what today is right?".
Eluuna nodded. "Yeah. I do." she was quiet for a moment, thinking on some distant memory. "Anyway, I was wondering if you'd like a cake? Reaping day and all..."
Iron looked at her "Your giving me a cake for free?" Iron said but he nodded his head "Sure I will take it maybe it will give me good luck!" Iron said laughed he looked at the baker girl "So what is your name?".
"Nice to meet you," Iron said he scarfed down the cake and it tasted wonderful "Dang where did you get the ingredients to make this stuff!" he was about to say something until he had heard the bell. "Come on we better go," Iron said walking at a quicker pace.
Eluuna's wings unfolded, and she leaped into the air as if she were on the moon. Landing back, she bounced her way to the reaping.
Iron started to go into a run trying to keep up with Eluuna's hoping they had made it to the school and Iron got seated but he could not find Eluuna in the crowd and Iron started to get nervous about the reaping.
"Welcome, Welcome", called Pink Pushie. AS always, the boring film came on. Pink Pushie raved about it's fabulousity "Mares First!" she called finally. Putting her hoof in, she quickly pulled out a name. "Eluuna Silverwing!" she called.
Iron looked at the movie he had seen it multiple times and he was starting to get bored of it when the movie stopped Pink Pushie reached into the case and pulled out a name for the mares "Eluuna Silverwing!" she had said. Iron gasped and looked and finally found her when all the mares was staring at her and he looked back "Make a friend gets sent to the Hunger Games," Iron thought.
Gulping, Eluuna walked to the Podium. A few mares were smiling in relief, while most stallions looked nervous. "Now the males!" called Pink. "Vinal Adar!" called out Pink. Eluuna's eyes widened slightly, and she sucked in a slight intake of breath.
Iron stared into space after all these hard work he had done not to get any food he was still chosen he was pushed out and he started to look at Eluuna when he got right next to her "What are the chances," Iron said.
