Good Good the take over has started, today the forums grow and tomorrow the world. There will be LOVE and tolerance everywhere.
Well, we've built up quite a decent amount of reputation among bronies (worldwide) and we plan to get our forum to the level of EquestriaDaily (which is most likely impossible, since forums are never as successful as blogs (well, most of the times, at least))
I remember when I first joined, a few days or a week, don't remember before Brony. I was frustrated that I would post in evey single interesting topic I could find, and would have to wait a long time for replies, or for new topics to show up. When brony day happened I think I got over 50 posts just on replying to introduction threads alone. It was exciting. My fear that it would be dead forever quickly fading. It is already bigger then the last forum I was loyal at. I had 500 posts there accumulated over 2 years of on and off activity, although it was a different forum then usual in that the thread were about a pretty narrow topic. Last forum before that was a Final Fantasy one, way back when I was 15-17 (24 now) I had my biggest record there at 1000 posts, pretty much decided quit after I reach that mile stone, as Final Fantasy wasn't as big a passion any more. Here I am already going faster then ever. Sure it's just about one show, but I really enjoy the fan work and I could be going through that forever, especially fanfics. (which I have never read since I was 15-17. Even if there isn't a 3rd season I think I could stick around for a long time.
This is the forum with he most nicest people & no *squee!*y slating I've ever been a member off (hence why all my activity)
I'll admit, I'm not that active in the forums as far as posting goes. I always prefer to read things over posting a message, hence my posting count, although i was member of this site since the beginning of June. It's pretty nice seeing the evolution of the forums, seeing faces dissapear (R.I.P royal guard and actxyn, among others) and new people join. But I really wouldn't call this forum huge, yet. Comparing it to many other forums, it still has quite a few ways to go before truly becoming "huge".
I've only been here for two months. When I first joined, there was hardly any activity, and I drifted into inactivity. It was only when Luprony told me to come back on in August that I realised how much it had grown! You can always find a new thread to post in these days, no matter how active you are. I'm sorry, I can't get over the word "gotten". Become. Twilight Sparkle moment there, sorry. :L
Ninja-ing I ride ponies, is when somepony posts while you are typing a response to the post you last read. It gets particularly annoying in word game threads.
Ahh, I have been subject to this. It wouldn't be so bad for me if I knew how to edit a post to make a sentence crossed out.
Freaking ninjas....you're right Setzer, it's infuriating in word games. I've been ninja'd by three people at once...comical rage insued.
Marcus grinned, "Your not the only one who has been tested on by scientists. Ever since I was five, ONI had been training me to become the perfect killing machine, a Spartan. There are three different types of Spartan, the Spartan super soldier, the Spartan two's which is what I am, and the Spartan three's. My eyes were originally a dark gold color, but then was horribly blinded by flash bang grenades. So, in order for me to see, ONI conducted a series of surgeries on my eyes, for which they altered my eyes, and now I can actually see ten times better than the average Spartan." Marcus looked at the woman with his glowing neon green eyes. "If you were tested on by scientists, then what types of mission did you have?"
