(yeh, i know anyone can see~ But i wanted your word, not to throw you an half-psychotic pony under your charge. By the way, where's Winter?) Celestia finally came back with an answer. "No, i don't need to ask him. Velvet Haze, you're officially engaged in our ranks. Go and find Winter for your assignements. I don't need to tell you how to find him, you must've figured out already. Good luck, Miss Haze, and i wish i'll hear a report after this." "Thank you, Princess. Even if titles means nothing to me, i'd like to say you that you deserve your fate, as a ruler. You defenetively belong to this throne." Velvet walked out the throne room happily, the weapons floating behind her. She took the time to put them in her saddlebag before leaving the castle, as well as making her inventory: the magnums, a box with 90 bullets, two card packs, Silence's necklace, and a several pouches filled with spices and herbs. She had the ingredients to make healing potions, just in case. She opened a secret pocket in her saddlebag, and took a collar out of it. 'I hope it still works...' She closed her eyes and focused. Soon, an image of Winter imposed herself in Velvet's mind. She took a deep breath, a bright light took her away.
(I guess you didn't get the reference, I was going for Bohemian Rhapsody) Winter was relaxing inside a small cottage in the middle of the forest when he felt a presence start to form near him. He opened his eyes to see a familiar face standing there, "What is it this time?" he asked, a bit put off from his break being disturbed.
Velvet grinned. "I'm happy to see you too~! Celestia has hired me in the Solar army, and now you're in charge of me~!"
Winter smiled slightly, "So she's finally given me an apprentice after all these years. Heh, with my talent, I would have thought it would have been sooner." he said more to himself, he looked towards Haze, "Are you sure about this? Because once your in, you can't leave." Her serious look gave it all away, "Alright. Let me teach you something right now." In a flash, a knife flew right by Haze's head, so close it took off some hair, and sank quivering in the wood behind her. "I'm no ordinary spy." he said, "I'm part of a group known as the Solar Five, five highly trained assassins, saboteurs, and spies. Together we make the Sun Organization. And just like with any sun, we have our 'rays', our nickname for our apprentices."
Cobraheart who was patrolling the border hitting anyone with arrows if they were wearing enemy armour. but he spotted two ponies in the distance one looked a higher rank than the other. Cobraheart flew to where they were heading being careful to stay in the Borders.
Kleft waited patiently for Luna's letter to return about the incident. Sure enough, after the course of around two minutes, a letter magically appeared from the ashes near him. He opened it and read the words, slowly taking in what her answer would be. Kleft, hello! This is not Luna, she's busy, this is Starfire. I happened to be in the room when Luna got the letter, and she gave it to me to look over. She imbued some of her magic in this letter, so the moment you're done reading, you should be teleported to us. We need to talk. Huh? Teleported to them? Kleft looked at his hooves to see a large blue circle around him, before a sudden flash blinded his eyes. Cringing, he opened his eyes a bit to notice that he was standing in the war-sector of the royal palace. Eyes all around him were staring curiously and looking at his physical features. "Ahh!" the bubblegum pony known as Starfire shrieked as she put him into a death-grip hug. "Great to see you again! We were just talking about you when we got your letter. Funny, huh? I'm sorry to hear about the camp, we were just planning on bringing them back too." She gave him a sad look and examined him thoroughly. "By the moon, you do not look good! Have you been expending large amounts of energy on magic recently?" Kleft thought for a moment. Should he tell her about the incident with the saboteur? He let his guard down a moment to think, and Stafire read his mind instantly. "So you attempted to engage the saboteur yourself? And he gave you a letter? How odd, indeed. Well, anyways, we'll fix the mess down in the Storm nation, but for the moment, we have a new assignment for you. We have recently gained word that the Western nation is obtaining an unusually large amount of supplies. We have yet to track down from where, but that's not the point. I think they plan to invade us, which could go very poorly on our behalf from what I've heard. This is where you come in, I need you to infiltrate the Western nation and learn of their plans so we can prevent the attack." Kleft listened, unblinking. When she was done debriefing him, he thought a moment, before saying "How exactly do you expect me to do this? I have no leads." At this, she smirked at him. What did she find so amusing? "Of course, that is why we chose you. We have located a certain mare that you have relations with, and we want you to trick the information out of her. You know her, one Snow Mark?"
Dark Shine trotted around in spot. Well, maybe he has had enough work. Even though techniqually he was in cloudsdalde he has never been in the town. His cloud was allways underneath near Ponyville but to the point it is the territory of the Storms.
Dark had been amazed at how well the meeting went, Tremalion met Heculius, they told jokes like normal brothers, they seemed to enjoy that moment that they tend to not be able to get often. She didn't know much about the treaty that they signed but it said stuff like Lasting alliance, possible unification if invaded, work collabertively. This was the first time any kind of treaty of this kind had been made by the nations since the ending of the Great War, which seperated each nation, in fact, is was the first truely major treaty even signed since at all! But no matter. On their way out, Dark saw an empty desk with the nametag that read Snow Mark, and below said, Gone on maternal leave. The words rang through her head, "So what Winter said was true." she said to herself. She told others to go ahead and that she would catch up, and then turnned towards the desk. She walked up to it and saw a fine layer of dust coating the desk, probably a couple days old. She opened up a couple drawers to find them empty, Figures, she thought, then she found one drawer right on top that didn't belong, Well hello, she tought as she opened the drawer to reveal two letters. She spread them out on the table and read them, they were identical, execpt for the part that followed Dear, one was to Dark, the other...Winter. It's coming, I'm due to deliver any day, if you can, you chould find your way to South Cloudsdale, they both ended there. Dark sighed, although she hated Winter with a passion, she couldn't really do anything anymore, Snow needed Winter as much as herself. "I need to get this to Winter." she thought solemnly. She rolled up the paper to Winter and snuck it into her saddlebag, she walked up to a nearby window and tryed to open it, Blast, stuck in place, time for a more dramatic exit then, she thought. She backed up a bit and charged, jumping at the window and, slamming against it without it breaking. (Got to be comical!), it flipped over, dumping Dark outside. She caught herself in air rubbing her head, before zooming off like a bullet towards Winter's hut, the first place she ever saw him.
(Just so you know, it's been 7-8 months, the average gestation period of a horse is 11 months, but we can ignore that for now ) All dressed up in his new uniform (some patched denim and a straw hat), Kleft arrived at the borderline of the Western nation. He was pulling a wagon behind him filled with various fruits and vegetables. 'This is so unfair!' he thought. He was posing as a farmer, coming to the nation to sell goods and perhaps settle, but everypony worth half their weight knows that unicorns can't grow worth a damn, so he couldn't use magic to help him pull it. His hips were sore and raw, and his legs felt like he would collapse at any moment. Kleft peered into the tunnel in front of him with some guards staring him down. "Halt there!" one said. He flew down from the top of the tunnel and landed in front of Kleft. "Who are you, and why are you crossing the border?" He commanded. Kleft wiped his brow and said "The name's Jhera Flower (lol), I've come here to settle and grow crops. The Lunar nation doesn't seem to fit me, everything's too hard work. I heard rumors that this nation is more developed in technology, so I decided to come here and settle to help myself and the nation together. May I please enter?" As he finished his well-rehearsed speech, the guard looked him over carefully. "Let me take a look in that wagon of yours," he said as he went to the wagon and started rooting through the various crops. "What do you plan to do with all this?" he asked. "Sell it for money to grow a farm, and I'm sure I'll get a pretty penny for it, I deserve it. You don't realize how heavy that thing is!" The guard took a careful bite of one of the apples, and Kleft gave him a rude look. Even if that wasn't actually his, this guy was just eating food out of his cart! "Actually, we're a little short on food at this outpost," the guard admitted. "I have some money inside, I could pay you for all this and take it off your hands. It would do well until our next shipment, no more hunting outside to find berries and grass." Kleft's ears perked up. They would take away his burdon! He quickly agreed, and the guards took his food away from him. Five minutes later, he was on his way across the border and into the Western nation, pockets filled with bits from the outpost. 'This is going to be easier than I thought...' Kleft thought as he flipped a bit around in the air. He looked forward and continued his way to the border town.
(Yea, I had know clue about that. Besides, these are smaller cartoon horses, so the 'gestation' period is bound to be shorter, so I just ended up thinking 7 months should be enough.)
Dark slammed through the door inyo Winter's little cottage, seeing him and another mare, but she knew better than to have any suspisions, as a knife was quivering in the wall behind the mare, who looked strangely fimiliar. "Winter, its time." she said, getting out Snow's incomplete letter and handing it to him. A smile crept over his face, "This day has finally arrived." he said. "Yea, that's why I'm here, to take your butt to go see your child." Dark said quite rudely, although she had to tolerate him, didn't mean she had to like him. "Right, let's go." Winter said, then turned to the mare in the room, "Oh and Haze, can you watch the hut while I'm gone? We'll get to your training after I get back." Dark rolled her eyes and grabbed Winter, "Alright Mister Cool Flames, let's go." and zoomed out the door, leaving Haze alone.
Firebreeze went back to work at the border, since the peace talks were over. 'This is gonna be a long and boring day...' he thought.
Firebreeze noticed a note on the ground. He went over to it and began to read it. He could believe what he had just read. Snow was pregnant, and most likely preparing to birth the baby as he was reading. At the end of the note, it said to find Dark and Winter. Fire had no idea who Winter was, but he assumed he was a friend. He then headed in the direction Dark had gone in not too long ago to find her.
Dark flew overhead when she noticed the outpost, "Looks like a friend's outpost, I'll be landing real quick." Dark told Winter. He nodded and they glided into a landing, landing next to Firebreeze, "Hey Fire, hear the news?" Dark asked from right next to Firebreeze.
Dark picked up Winter again and the three took off. "Oh, I'm Winter Warmth!" Winter yelled to Firebreeze over the wind, "I'm the father! I'm guessing your a friend of Snow's?!"
Velvet laughed loudly. "Oh, but i can make my prooves!" In a flash, a card appeared in front of Winter, and an old-looking silver magnum pointing in his direction. "I've made my way through a lot, you know. I lived three years in the woods with my sister. And the art of discretion is written in my genes. I sure have a lot to learn, but i know what i'm doing. Oh, and don't stand next to me if my eyes turn completly dark. You may become crazy, and lost the control of yourself, to finaly commit a bloody suicide with a big show-off. And i'm sure that my alchemy could be usefull too~!" She put her weapons back in her saddlebag. "And i can see that i'll need to learn a lot..."
