Frozen face hoofed, "You..you actually got ahold of a 200 year old Chineighse calendar?!" Frozen shook his head, with a chuckle, and examined it. "April 25th," he said, "I was living in singlehorse. I remember it because it was the second year of Empress Jade Hoof's reign."
"That's why father just copies ancient tomes. Most people don't know he's doing and the book never leaves where it belongs."
"Well, seeing as I brought it here, I'd say this is where it belongs!" Discord grinned, happy with his logic.
"Your logic, needs some work." "Father you're awake?" "Smaller body, less of a charge time. I'm surprised to see so many residents out and about." ~~~~ Megan got out of the bath, and dried herself off. What sort of trouble did Lio's daughter get her into? Leaving the bathroom, she headed to basement so stock up on supplies.
"Well, logic isn't really my forte..." Discord admitted. He frowned at their conversation "Smaller body? You've shrunk?"
Lio rubbed his head again. He needed to program a filter or something to keep from saying questionable things. While his eyes were closed he noticed Megatron was in the basement. "When did Megan arrive?" "Just now. She'd been imprisoned by a cult leader. Is she out of the bathroom?" "Yes she just entered the basement." "Okay I need to see her." Kimitsu walked out of the living room and headed to the basement.
Now more confused than ever, Discord turned back to the one thing that made sense; his chocolate milk.
Frozen was staring off into space; the calendar brought back memories of his beloved Sifu Lotus and her little medicine shop in singlehorse. She had died so long ago, but he missed her deeply even now. She had been the closest thing he had to a true mother. Absently, he wondered if their might be a noodle shop in town. He would eat an extra bowl for her..
"Anyways, when are you planning to do... whatever you want to do?" Luna asked Frozen. "Remember we are going to the town tomorrow."
"I will need a week to prepare," Frozen said as he snapped out of his trance. "I will still be going to town tomorrow."
"Alright. In thay case we will all meet here in the morning befor we go." Luna said to everypony. "See you tomorrow." She stood up, as well as Darky, and then they both left to their room.
"I will be retiring as well," Frozen said, "Goodnight everypony." As Frozen was leaving, he patted Rosy gently on the back, "I hope you don't have any more nightmares," he said, "goodnight." Frozen slipped out of the room and headed down the hall to his own.
Darky and Luna went into their room. They got in bed and kissed each other for a while. They then fell asleep, cuddling each other happily.
Discord, having already slept enough for one night, went to the games corner of the room to see if there were any good board games.
Rosy stiffened as Frozen patted her back, but quickly relaxed to cover her mistake. "Oh, yes. You too. Goodnight." she said. She waved to Discord and returned to her room. The door opened with a dismal creak, and she sat on her bed, alone, and quiet. Her horn glowed as she crooned a soft melody once more. The window in her room opened from her magic, and the cool midnight air drifted in. She stood up and placed her chin on the sill as she watched the stars. "You're okay." she whispered to herself. "You're okay now."
[Actually it's probably about 1 AM, I'm fairly certain about an hour has passed since everyone woke up.] "Lio sat at the game table. I don't know if you'd consider it fun, but how about a game of trouble."
"Sounds like my kind of game!" Discord smiled. He had, in fact, played it before with Fluttershy, and given his current form, it seemed appropriate.
