"Well that just raises further questions!" Exclaimed Discord. He decided to have a pancake, to see if that would make sense of it.
"I slept fairly well, thank you," Frozen said, Are you planning to go to town as well today?" As he was waiting for an answer, Frozen witnessed Lio's transformation in awe and confusion, "What sorcery is this?"
"That's a good question, I assumed it was Discord hugging me and his magic just going off. He said something about it last night when we were playing trouble."
"So this isn't your doing?" Frozen asked. He has sensed Lio was more powerful than he/she admitted, but he had never heard of a spell that could change somepony's gender at whim!
"Well, I suppose it may have been me, hang on a second." Discord finished his pancake, then approached Frozen and hugged him as emphatically as he could, to see if the results would be duplicated.
Frozen tensed up, "Discord..watever you're trying to do isn't working," he said in gasps and weezes, "crushing me.."
"Well, the good news is my magic doesn't seem to have the same effect on Windigos as it did on Lio. The bad news is you may have internal haemorrhaging." Discord said, releasing Frozen. "Sorry about that." It would appear that, despite his form, Discord was still stronger than a regular pony.
"Quite..alright.." Frozen said, with a wince, "At any rate, I was thinking of visiting the library today, care to accompany me?"
"I'll go with my husband for a walk around the town." Luna said. "And will visit the seaponies. It has been so long since I last saw one." Darky smiled. "I never seen one." He said.
"Mommy did the hug work on you cause you have Mr. Discord's heart." "...." Her daughters question may have a point. Her own use the the Heart of Discord and her previous inorganic nature may have made her more susceptible to Discord's subconscious magic. Did she just hear the royal couple was heading out now? And Luna was going to see the Sea Ponies? "Princess, expect Queen Acionna to want a bit of your time."
"I still need to talk to you about that Lio," Discord said, pointedly. "Anyway, are we going or what? I want to see how the town's changed in the last thousand years, particularly the library; they'll probably have new books!" He added, winking at Frozen.
Luna stood up. "Thank you." She said to her. "I'll keep that in mind when I go to the town." Darky stood up with her.
Frozen chuckled, a bit. He was about to leave with discord, when a thought occured to him, "Rosy, would you like to come with discord and I?"
Rosy looked up shyly, and tucked a chestnut lock behind her ear. "Oh. Well, I mean, if you guys wouldn't mind." she said.
After Usagi started eating some pancakes Lio made her way to the basement. Taking precautions she went down to her lab. Now where did she put the heart. ~~~ As people were leaving Usagi suddenly remembered something! "Everyone should be careful. Snare likes to leave traps on the path between the house and town. Mommy got strung up twice and I fell in a pit."
She shifted on her chair uncomfortably, and then smiled. "Okay. Thank you. I'll take you up on that offer." she said.
