"You're both welcome here. I already have an avatar of Chaos, I don't have any issues with an Ice Pony. Come on in and I'll set you up with rooms." Lio moved out of the doorway to let the two in. While under normal circumstances he'd probably be oblivious to Frozen Heart's disguise, in his current magic vulnerable state he could tell the unicorn wasn't what he seemed to be. What he was, he had no clue. Still with Discord and Luna already in the house he was half expecting Sombra or Tirek to show up next. (I'm going with a half an hour has passed since everyone has been down in the kitchen? Or is an Hour more realistic? Also I'm probably going to have to do a backflash when Quill post again, cause Usagi's been at Star Shimmers door this whole time otherwise.)
"Frozen," he replied to the mare, politely, if a bit detached. He glided after Lio with an air of reserved regality; old habits, he supposed, were not easily broken. "I'd like the seven hundred and seventy seventh room, if it is available for rent." As they walked, he pondered Lio's words. The avatar of chaos, here? Could he mean Discord? If so, this trip could indeed be immensely fortuitous..
Discord could hear that Lio was letting somepony in at the front door; as the front door closed, he felt the room get slightly colder. He shivered a little.
Darky also felt what Discord felt, yet since he was mainly nocturnal, he didn't cared at all. He was used to cold since the night is colder than the day. He just kept eating his pie before it could get cold. He also made sure that what he made for Luna was still good and in order... yep, it was still alright.
"Hey, do you want a cloche or something for that?" Discord asked Darky, noticing how he kept eyeing his salad.
"It is" Lio takes out the key and hands it to the unicorn. "If you need any furniture in the closet is a rather unique artifact. Simply place the circlet on top of your head and think about the furniture you want. Just make sure to open a window before using it or the air can get fairly thin." (The front door hasn't close yet)
"I'm open to any room, honestly. If you're looking for specific numbers, though.. I mean, my favorite number is twelve." said Rosy, tucking her mane behind her ear.
"Many thanks," Frozen said as he accepted the key, and used his magic to store it in his saddlebags. On the way to his room, he glanced inside and had his suspicions confirmed about discord being in the building. However, it was the second figure that gave him the most pause. He knew little of the stallion, save for his close affiliation to the princesses. He decided that he was best avoided, if possible, lest he wind up at the end of a rope..
With a click of his fingers and a flash of light, Discord spawns a fine silver cloche; the handle is shaped like Darky's head. "Enjoy," he said, throwing the cloche over to Darky. (my bad, just wanted something to indicate that Frozen was in the building.)
Darky gabbed it and put the plate with the salad in it. He noticed the handle and couldn't help it but chuckle a little. "Thank you." he said to Discord. He then exited the room, grabbing the cloche with his magic. On his way out he noticed the pale white unicorn and noticed that the cold emanated from him. He then walked towards him, still having the cloche. "Hello." he said to Frozen with a smile trying to look friendly.
If Frozen's coat wasn't already white, the color surely would have faded from it at that moment. However, he did his best to mask his unease. "Hello," he said, mustering up a slight smile.
Darky looked at in more detail. "You are also staying in the house right?" he said "You look like a quite interesting pony. My name is Darkness Knight, you can call me Darky." he then said with a friendly smile. "What is your name?"
"Your welcome." Lio took then took out key 12 and handed it to Rose. "Your probably familiar with the map in the add but 12 is the room up these stairs and to the left. While the house is big, it's really simple."
"Frozen Heart," he said, "but you may call me Frozen. I will be residing here as well, yes, in the seven hundred and seventy seventh room."
"Alright then." Darky said smiling. "I'm staying in the room 18 with my wife, Princess Luna, if you need anything. I need to give this to her, so see ya." he said just before leaving.
"Oh. I didn't expect it to be that simple." she said, taking the key gingerly. "Thank you. Upstairs, to the left?"
The princess was here? Now?! Frozen gulped audibly, once Darky was out of earshot, and backed against the wall of the kitchen. Any ordinary pony would be fooled by his masquerade, but one of the sisters would see through his guise. He reached out with his senses, and indeed he felt the presence of a powerful alicorn upstairs. Fear swept over him as he realized that if he could sense her presence, it was likely she could sense his own.
"I was in a hurry when I drew up the plans, and the builder followed them exactly. It took forever to convince him to put doors and windows in the rooms." Lio wondered if he was divulging too much information. His daughter definitely got that trait from him. "Er, yes."
