Rashall had quickly and quietly slipped back into the shadows once more and gave a sigh of relief and thanked the quite.
Hibiscus turned towards Celestia as she addressed him. "Uh, yes, my name is Hibiscus!" He said. The cider he had been drinking was beginning to get at his head. "I can't say we've met. Are you the hostess of this party? It certainly is..." he stole a glance at Jhera, "...interesting..." Marigold Flower could do nothing but stare directly at Celestia. Her mouth was moving, but no words were coming out. She was obviously shocked so much she could not speak. "I must have drank too much cider...I'm going to go get some punch..." she said raggedly as she left the group for the punch table.
"Hey, Snow!" Ember said cheerily. "Oh, hey, Snow." Fire said, turning to Snow and sipping at his newly acquired drink
Her attention was towards Dark Shine and she noticed that the other pony slipped away and she walked back over towards Dark Shine as she bows to him and she looks over at the princess " It was nice to meet you Dark Shine this Galla is so busy and confusing" she looks around and smiles at him "now don't be mean to your brother. be thankful you have one" she smiles as she flaps her wings a bit.
Cool Shades grumbles a bit. "Yeah, yeah yeah...." Can be heard from under his breath. Dark Shine smiled. "I like you already. He is often like that. Nice meeting you! See you around!" then he turned, and wandered of, to get a book.
Celestia racked her brain for something that could remind Hibiscus of her, then found something that remind him, "I gave you the White Hope."
she smiles "nice meeting you as well" she walks over back towards the table she was out and she sits at the table flapping her wings a bit as she sits and listens quietly to the fast pace of the galla and she sips on her drink.
Hibiscus frowned at Celestia. "No...no I can't say you did. Snow Mark was the one who gave me the White Hope. Beautiful thing really." He suddenly looked at her suspiciously. "Hold up, how did you know about the White Hope flower?" Jhera spat out what he was drinking as he realized what was happening. "OPH!" he shouted. He got in between the two. "Hibiscus! I didn't see it fit to mention to you, but you should really know something. This is Snow Mark. He turned herself into an alicorn after you d-" He stopped himself just in time. "...after you left!" Hibiscus's eyes grew wider and wider as he took in Celestia. "I...don't..." he stuttered. After a moment, all he could think of in his drunken stupor was "What on this planet did you ever do to your hair!?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marigold drank some of her punch and wandered up to a nearby white alicorn sitting at a table. "'Ello there!" she said. "I fancy meeting some of the ponies in this room, so you're today's lucky winner!" She laughed and then hiccuped. Marigold was not used to drinking so much cider and punch at once. "Mah name's Marigold. What do they call you around these parts?"
Celestia smiled softly, "It was a little side effect, I'm happen I got to see you again Hibiscus, after all these years, what's it been, near on 1300 years?"
she turns her attention to the shouting wondering what is going on as she stood up looking towards the commotion of the galla. she noticed a few other ponies doing what she was doing as well. she pulled a book from her bag and placed it in front of her trying to divert her attention to something else so she wouldn't be nosy.
Hibiscus thought a moment. "Well, I've concluded that I'm here by some sort of time spell, concocted by Starswirl in his crazy study, but what made it send me to this specific party? Was there something he wanted?" Hibiscus shook his head, it was beginning to hurt a bit. "Ah, anyhorse, I'm here and that's all that really matters. So, by some magical doohicky, you've managed to make yourself immortal? What an interesting concept! I never would have believed such a thing possible, but the proof is standing right before me! Please, tell me," Hibiscus gestured at the three alicorns in the back of the room greeting ponies, "Who might these be? More ponies I knew but no longer recognize?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Oh, no you don't." Marigold muttered. "You will not ignore me! I asked for your name, could you please answer?" She pointed a hoof in a threatening gesture at MoonLight, followed by another hiccup. Rashall wandered over and attempted to get her attention, paying no mind to Marigold. "Well, hey there!" she said, moving her hoof in a drunken fashion towards Rashall. "You look pretty strong there, mister. How strong are you?"
Rashall notices the pony he had to try to introduce himself earlier was now sitting down reading a book. He walked up to her table, yet she still didn't notice him. "Not much one for parties either eh?" Asks Rashall now at the same table as the alicorn.
She looks over at the pony who had sat next to her before and she closes her book " No this is my first party I been to, the rest of the time I been locked in the library studying" she smiles "your first time here as well?" she asked as she looked over at him.
"Those are my siblings, each one of us has a specific portion of what we rule, I guide the sun across the sky, my sister Luna, aka Rena, guides the moon, the older of my two brothers is Tremalion and he is King of Storms and his brother, Heculius sets the calm weather. We are all Trecarius' children, and me and Tremalion are the only ones that know the uplifting spell." Celestia said.
"Yes this is my first time here, but I'm used to these sort of things, a library is actually the place I want to be right now," says Rashall laughing a little, "Names Rashall Firemane," he says again extending his hoof.
she shakes his hoof "My Name is MoonLightSunLight, yes I know it's a mouth full and it is a pleasure to meet you Rashall" she smiles " so what do you like to study in a Library?" wounder a bit sitting pushing her mane out of her eyes.
Spoiler: ಠ_ಠ What are you getting at here... Hibiscus's eyebrows furled together as he heard the names lift from Celestia's mouth. "I'm sorry," he said as politely as possible, "I haven't met any, nor do I recognize their names." He shuffled around awkwardly for a moment. "So, how have you been for the past 1300 years!" He said with a chuckle.
Firebreeze walked a bit closer to Celestia and the pony she was talking to. Everything they were saying confused him, 'I don't even... What?' He thought.
"I like to read anything and everything that catches my attention," says Rashall smiling he then notices Princess Celestia conversing with another group, "It would seem that the princess is here finally. I take it you're going to go talk to her," says Rashall.
