" I would love to have it behind my right ear please" she moves her mane out of the way for him as she smiles still
Rashall places the flower behind Moon's ear and then steps back a little, "There we go even more beautiful than before and it matches your hair perfectly," says Rashall smiling.
She blushes a bit as she looks at him " why thank you, you are the most kind pony that i have meet tonight Rashall"
"No problem Moon, if ever you find yourself in trouble or simply need company either call my name or just wish me there. That flower will inform me of your need and I shall be there in a flash all you need do is believe," says Rashall.
Marigold glanced around as soberness washed over her. "Oh, by the stars! I'm so sorry father!" She said nervously. He smiled at her sadly. Then, without warning, Hibiscus burst into laughter. "You should have seen ME the first time I discovered the wonders of cider!" he said as he took ahold of Marigold. "Oh, good times, good times..." his voice wandered off as he spotted an alicorn across the room with a particularly odd flower on her head. "My, I've never seen anything quite like that before..." he muttered as he let go of his daughter. She straightened her mane and said "Don't bother, she wouldn't talk with me earlier, no reason she'd talk with an old fool like you!" They both laughed again, and Jhera felt that he was just a bit unincluded. "What's so interesting about the flower?" he asked. Hibiscus sighed. "Never seen it before." He said plainly. "I've seen just near every flower on this planet, and that thing has never shown up. Maybe it's some new breed that arose over the past 1300 years?" he chuckled again, then scooted closer to get a better look at the flower. He frowned. "What is it, daddy?" Marigold asked. "It's in great condition, signs of proper care appear all over it. The stem is completely green, so it was picked recently. But, sadly enough, it's a male flower. I can't extract any seeds from it even if I had her leave." He sighed again. "Still good to get some information about it, though! C'mon, Jhera, you might learn something." And with that he walked off to confront the pony about her flower.
She looks at the other ponies coming towards her and she bows her head as she moves her wings a bit and she smiles " Hello their my name is MoonLightSunLight or just Moon for short" she sits their taking a sip from her drink as she sits their feeling like all eyes were on her after the flower was on her head.
Marigold's jaw dropped. Hibiscus cleared his throat for a moment before saying "Ah, yes! Hello, my name is Hibiscus Flower. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, miss Moon." He gave her an awkward half bow. Jhera facehoofed. It was painstakingly obvious he wanted something from her; he wasn't being subtle at all! "Yes, I came over to inquire, what is that flower you have behind your ear? I have never seen anything like it before. It's a most interesting flower, and beautiful at that."
"It's been nice meeting you, but I have the feeling I should get back to the Forest," says Rashall nodding to Moon.
Tremalion walked up next to Rashall, "Before you go, I just want you to know that while our troops are still a lot better trained, equipped, and more experienced now, don't be surprised if theres something we can't handle." Then he continued to walk by and found his way back to the other three royals.
"oh yes Rashall it was nice meeting you" she bows to him and she looks back at Hibiscus Flower. "oh yes I was given this by a very special pony? and your name is really quite unique" she smiles
Hibiscus blushed. "Unique? Well, I wouldn't call it that..." Marigold hit him on the side and he let out a faint "oof!" After he recollected himself, he said "Might you know the name of the flower? Perhaps how to obtain one? I, myself, am a very flower-obsessed pony. That flower is certainly the most...unique...thing in the room. Apart from you, of course." Marigold hit him again, this time harder, he threw her a nasty look and waited for Moon's answer.
She giggles a bit and smiles " the Pony that just left gave it to me its from his homeland, but the pony beside you is wanting to leave and i shouldn't keep you from them" she smiles at him and bows her head "If you want to talk more I'm in a place called Ponyvile or you can find me here studying." she bows at them.
"Ah..." Hibiscus said sadly, "Well, I don't think I have much time to spend here anyways. Oh well, thanks for the answer!" He turned back to the other two in his group. "So! It's your turn, Jhera. What do you want to do?" Jhera thought a moment, and then nodded at his idea. "Yes, I'd like to learn more about your lives in the feudal era. I don't think I have everything in the family history books." Hibiscus frowned. "Well, if you say so." He said, escorting them over to a table to talk. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kleft took another quick gulp of cider and stared forward into the crowd of partying ponies. He had a sudden pang that made him wish he could display happiness again. If for just this once, he was allowed to be happy. He spotted Snow and her son talking on the other side of the pavilion. Kleft had never actually met Snow's son, not counting the time he burst into the hospital and teleported out at the sight of Winter. He put his cider cup down and headed over across the room towards where the two were standing.
Snow turned to see Kleft heading towards her, "Oh hello Kleft." she said happily, "This is my son Retalius, he's a captain in the army." Retalius simply nodded in greeting.
Kleft took a look at Retalius, inspecting him up and down. 'So this is Retalius?' he thought. 'Last I saw the colt, he was merely a foal, and now he's captain of the army. Makes me feel old...' Kleft nodded and extended a hoof towards Retalius. "I haven't seen you in ages. I hope your life has been swell?"
Retalius shook Kleft's hoof, "I've been fine." He said plainly. Snow leaned over to Kleft and whispered, "Don't expect to get much out of him, he isn't much of a talker. I can barely get more then two sentences out of him and I'm his mother!" Snow looked around, "I wonder where Dark is?"
"Ah, Dark is to be here too?" Kleft said, curiously. "I haven't seen her recently, either. How's she been doing? Actually, more like how have the two of you been doing. I haven't talked to either of you in a while."
"We've been doing fine, though its hard to get some quality time to hang out with her, as she is the Master Protector for the Capital region. That's a pretty big responsibility. Me, I've mostly been continuing my studies, still can't get a solid job, you know. Not much has changed for me other then getting a family of my own."
