"A blck sword with a whit mask. as i am a swordsman." SHadow said as a reply to Jade. "The mask is well....."
"Well, mine is a checkered flag, like the ones they use at races. I'm a very talented flier." Orangebolt said, trying not to sound like he was boasting.
"No." He stated in the most profound and deep manner he could... before elaborating. "If you wanna know a dragon's special talent, you gotta ask it." He grinned as he went on to say "I'm proud of my iron stomach. I could probably out-eat any of you... and I wouldn't even need to worry about cooking." He examplified his statement by puffing a short burst of flame upwards from the corner of his grin.
Robin approached the group of ponies and dragon before introducing himself. "hey, names Robin hoof. You may think I'm either a menace to the rich or saviour of the poor. Either way I'm an outlaw who lived in the forests near Trottingham. Anyway looking around I think the griffins think we aren't as skilled and powerful as they are, in other words they are pretty cocky
"If that IS what they think i'm afriad their mistaken." Shadow said as his eyes scanned the road behind them And pointing his ears straight uplistening for any strang noises."Not to sound cocky myself, but if they were not friendly i would have slaughtered them long ago."
"Well, the griffins are very proud of themselves, so I'm not surprised. They were just born with those mindsets, y'know?" Orangebolt said, looking through the small group.
Jaden remained quiet, peering around. Her horn glowed and she pulled a strange device out of her saddlebag. It looked almost like a 20 side dice, but with buttons. She began to press them nonchalantly, fiddling with it.
"Whats that?" Shadow asked looking at it with intrest. "Is it some kind of puzzle? I love puzzles." Shadow siad inthusiasticly.
"It's nothing." she said, still kind, but stronger. She walked under a leafy branch, and stared straight ahead.
Jaden looked into his eyes, and suddenly, in his mind's eye, he saw his sword attacking him, held by no one but it's own will. Eventually, it was shattering, and his mask whisking into a void. They failed at their mission because of Shadow, and it was all in his mind. "I said, it's nothing. Please. I don't like it." said Jade, shaking her head, and trotting forward once more.
