    Especially now

    On a dark day in high school
    We went on a date

    The date went badly
    I have three scars to prove it
    They are on my back

    Eternally there
    Three enormous marks of hate
    Of hate turned to love

    And 5 years later
    We shared an eternal bond
    That will never break
