"Hey~" Eris said, smiling weakly, and sitting up next to him. She was not in much of a better state than him, but seeing him awake again filled her heart with joy. She threw her arms around him, and cried happy tears.
Thunder smiled at that and hugged Eris, gently stroking her mane and nuzzling her cheek a bit. "I'm happy to see you better." He saud smiling.
Eris was so happy, but in the back of her mind, she knew it wasn't over yet... "You saved me, Thunder," She said, pulling back a bit to look at him, "Just like you promised you would..." She sighed sadly, and looked at the burn on his flank. "...but at what cost?"
"Getting the cure... wasnt that hard..." he said smiling as he kissed her nose. "The problem was getting back..." he added sighing. He needed a small make out session with Eris to get the zebra's kiss out of his mind. Not that she was bad, just he loved Eris, not her.
"Well you are back now," Eris said, bringing her face closer to his, feeling his warm breath on her cheek, "And we are together, as we should be~" She added, wrapping her arms around his neck. She knew they still had to deal with Celestia and the curse, but she also felt they both needed this right now, that it was as important as anything else...
Thunder hugged her happily and kissed her nose. "Yes. And that is the thing that I like the most." He said as he pulled her for a long and lovely kiss.
Eris' tail flicked about as they kissed, and she lay back on the bed as they hugged, pulling Thunder down onto her. She pulled away from his lips for a moment to nuzzle his cheek, and kiss his neck softly.
"E-Eris~" Thunder said, smiling an bit. Even though he thought it wasnt the best moment, he really felt like doing it. He hold her close, allowing her ti do what she wanted.
Eris was still tired from trying to fight the curse, but after everything that had happened... She aimed to take advantage of the time they had together. She pressed her lips to his again, kissing him passionately, and slipped her paw down between them, to guide him...
~~~~~~~~ After they had finished, Thunder smiled and laid Eris on gis chest. He was too weak to last how long he usually did, but that didn't made it less lovely. "I... love you... so much~" Thubder whispered to her ear.
Eris smiled and nuzzled his chest. "And I you, Thunder~" She replied, before kissing him, softly. It may not have been as... imaginative, as they usually were together, but after all they'd been though in the last few days, it felt to Eris like one of the most wonderful nights they'd ever spent together. She rested her head back on his chest, and listened to his heart as she fell asleep...
His heart beats, after a while, seemed to be leas frequent, like if it was going a bit slower. Thunder gently stroked her mane, feeling even more weak now and getting worse as time passed
"Thunder!" Eris said, alarmed as she awoke to his slowed heartbeat, "What's the matter? How do you feel?" She realised that she felt a lot stronger than she had before she slept, which worried her greatly; If her spell had been successful, she should still be feeling weak! That could only mean... "You... You're still dying?" She whispered, her eyes filling with tears as she lifted her had to look at him.
"I... think so.,." thunder said even weaker to her as he looked down to her. He took off her tears with his hoof and smiled. "Is alright honey... it is not your fault..." he said as he laid back. "I... dont know how much time I have left..." he said as he closed his eyes and laid his head in the bed.
"It's not alright!" Eris cried, sitting up. "I love you Thunder! I can't watch you die!" She took his hoof and kissed it, holding it to her chest, her tears flowing freely now. "Why can't I save you?" She whispered, heartbroken as she looked at him. The curse could only be lifted by the one who cast it... She hated it, but she knew now that she had no choice... (Oh man... the feels! D= )
( D: ) Thunder smiled a bit to her kiss and leaned towards her and nuzzled her nose a bit. "E-Eris..." he said before he fell into a small nap. He felt too weak to stay up.
"Thunder..." Eris wiped her eyes, and gave his hoof a final kiss, before resting it gently on his chest. "There's something I have to do... but I'll be back soon." She got out of the bed, and headed to the door, pausing for a second to look back at him sadly, before heading down stairs. She went out onto the balcony, and teleported herself to the portal, where Lone and Courage were standing. It was closed, but they were there as extra precautions, in case Celestia found a way to open it. "Thunder is still dying," She said, trying to hold back the tears, as she walked to them. "I have to talk to Celestia. Lone, I would like you to come with me, and Courage, I want you to stay with Thunder, in case anything happens." She waited until Courage was out of sight, then sighed and opened the portal a little, stepping through with Lone, and then closing it behind her.
Outside, Celestia was waiting for them with a big number of gaurds, as well as Luna and a smaller group of night guards. "You came here to surrender yourself and give back Thunder?" Celestia asked frowning a bit after seeing her exit the portal.
"I have come here to ask that you lift the curse you placed on Thunder," Eris said, avoiding eye contact with Celestia. "It's killing him. Please... I can't watch him die..." She looked pleadingly at Luna for a second, before turning her eyes to the floor.
"Sister, we can't let him die..." Luna said to Celestia as she walked to her side. "I know." Tia only replied. After a moment she turned to Eris. "I will heal him if you give him to me. She had betrayed equestria and must face the consequences." she said to Eris firmly. "Or I'll let him die." "Sister!" Luna said, worried by her words
