Eris nodded sadly, and started to head towards one of the cells with Thunder. Maybe now they'd get a little privacy, at least...
Once they were in there, Luna put them both in the same cage. "I will come later with food snd tomorrow your punishment will be declared." She said a bit sad before she left
Eris didn't really care. All that mattered to her was that Thunder was okay, and that they were alone together. She hugged him close, and sat on the floor. "I'm sorry Thunder," She said, sadly, as she held him, "It's my fault we are in here. I hope you can forgive me..."
Thunder laid down on her lap and kissec her nose. "Is alright sweetheart. It is not your fault. We could had never expected this." He said as he kissed her nose
Eris scrunched her nose, and smiled weakly. "Oh Thunder," She sighed, stroking his mane, "How do you stay so positive?" She continued stroking his mane, and wrapped her tail around, her lap, making somewhere nice and soft for Thunder to lie, rather than the cold stone floor of the cage.
Thunder smiled after feeling the softness she made. He smiled and snuggled her a bit. "I am with you. That makes me so happy." He said as he kissed her.
Eris kissed him back and smiled. He was the one thing in the world she would sacrifice anything for... even her freedom. Even then, locked in a dungeon, awaiting punishment by a crazed tyrant, she too managed to be happy, thanks to his presence. "What do you think she will do with us?" She asked, cuddling him close, and rubbing his scarred flank gently with her paw.
Thunder smiled and blushed a bit after feeling her paw. "I... dont know..." he said sighing as he dig his face into her chest. "But I will endure it for you..." he added as he cuddled her.
"We shall endure it together~" Eris said, gently lifting his face to look at her, and smiling reassuringly. She kissed him tenderly, then allowed him to rest his head on her chest once more. The cage was the polar opposite of their bedroom, but Eris still tried to get them both as comfy as possible as they waited to be told their fate.
Thunder smiled and kissed her back when she did. He looked at her lovely eyes and nuzzled her in her nose . Afer a while, Luna personaly gave them their food. It was quite good compared to normal prision food.
"Thank you, Luna," Eris said, smiling faintly at the Princess when they had finished. "I don't suppose we could have a bed could we?" She asked, hopefully. "My magic doesn't seem to work in here..."
"It is a magicaly sealed cell. You cant use magic in it." Luna explained as she gestured to a guard to bring them a bed. "Thank you." Thunder said.
It still wasn't as comfy as their bedroom, but Eris was a lot happier once they had been fed, and they had been given a bed to sleep in. She cuddled Thunder, and tried to put their situation out of her mind. "So," She said, taking his hoof in her paw, and giving it a kiss, before wrapping her arms around his waist, "Will you tell me about your daring quest to find the cure that saved my life?"
Thunder smiled and cuddled her back hapilly. "It was quite the small adventure." He said. He started telling her what he and Lone did at the train station and castle, smiling all the time.
Eris smiled as she listened, glad to hear that Thunder and Lone had been able to work together so well, and that Luna had agreed to help them. She held his hoof throughout the story, squeezing it lovingly, and occasionally interrupting him for a kiss. "So, how did you get into her quarters then?" She asked, as he neared the crux of his tale, "How did you get the assassin to tell you the cure?"
"Oh... that... what she wanted..." he looked away. "She... she wanted a kiss. She wanted to feel... loved." He said, a bit embarrased. "I... had to. To save you..."
"Huh..." Eris hadn't expected that, although, she could definitely understand it; before Thunder, she had never known love either, and she would have been willing to a lot to experience it. Strangely, the thought of Thunder kissing her would-be-assassin didn't make Eris angry at all; she knew he loved her, and her only, and that it was that he had only kissed the zebra to save her. "Show me?" She asked, quietly, "How you kissed her?"
He blushed at that. "A-alright..." he said as he crowled up to her and hugged her, then looked to her eyes and smiled, then kissed her deeply and lovingly. This was way more better than with the zebra
Eris pulled back from the kiss after a long while, and planted a couple of shorter, softer kisses on his lips, before holding him close and nuzzling his cheek. "I can see why that would be worth a life~" She whispered in his ear, before leaning back to look at his wonderful face.
Thunder blushed a bit more and smiled as he looked to her eyes. "Thank you love~" he said smiling as he nuzzled and snuggled her. After a while, he fell asleep as he wrapped her with his wings. He felt comfortable in her chest, so he had to return her the favor
