After a while, Eris woke, and wandered down the stairs. "Thunder?" She called, meekly. She'd come to the conclusion that their fight had been her fault; Thunder obviously hadn't meant what he said, and she had flown off the handle unnecessarily. Her heart skipped a little when she saw him on the sofa; he was still here! She padded over to the sofa and laid down, curling up with her head in Thunder's lap. "I'm sorry," She said, quietly.
Thunder was thinking on what he read. Was she planning on taking over equestria? He refused to belive it. He then heard a voice. It was his Eris. He looked down to her when she laid her head on his lap. He wanted to be angry with her for what her read... but he couldn't. Not sad, not dissappointed no nothing. He smiled and kissed her nose. "Is alright my love~" he replied, then nuzzled her a bit. "I should had thought what I said before talking." He said. He just couldn't be angry at her! He loved her so much!
Eris looked at him for a moment, then started to cry, softly. She didn't deserve him! After what she'd done, the way she'd treated him, he still wasn't mad at her? She felt terrible.
Thunder hugged her and laid back on thr sofa, holding her above him and between his hooves, gently caresing her mane. How could he be angry at her? He loved her and had been the best thing that happened to him in his life. "I will always love you Eris~" he whispered to her ear softly.
Eris continued to sob softly into his coat. "I love you too," She whispered back, "With all my heart." She vowed to be better; to never get angry with him again, at least not without hearing him out first.
Thunder smiled at what she said and kissed her forehead as he kept hugging her. He was thinking on helping her take over equestria. He was willing to do it, just to see her smile. Screw Celestia and Luna, he only cared for Eris' happyness
Eris nuzzled into his chest, enjoying the warmth and smell of his soft fur. She found it very comforting, and soon fell asleep once again, but this time there were no nightmares, just happy dreams of their time together, and of what might be in the future.
Thunder smiled until he saw that she fell asleep. He then carried her to their room and laid her down in the bed, getting into it and snuggling her before also falling asleep with her, cuddling her and dreaming with her as well.
By the time Eris woke, it was afternoon. Her rumbling tummy reminded her that in all the day's excitement, they still hadn't eaten. She rolled over and saw Thunder sleeping peacefully next to her. She remembered what she'd done, and still felt pretty bad. He was such a good stallion, she felt she needed to do something to make it up to him. Grinning, she came up with a plan, and slipped down under the sheets to give him an extra-special wake up call.
Thunder was sleeping with her until she woke up. He felt the movement but didn't paid that much attention. He was smiling, saying "Eris~" every now and then as he slept, hugging her until she slipped down the sheets. What was sh- oh dear~
Admittedly, she hadn't had much practice, but Eris had read a few books on the subject, and Thunder certainly seemed to be enjoying what she was doing. Once her plan had been successfully completed, she reappeared from under the sheets with a grin. "Hey."
Thunder looked at her, blushing a bit. "Uhmm... hello." he said, but then smiled to her. His belly soon growled. "Looks like I'm hungry. Lets go to eat, shall we?" He said smiling. He wouldn't mind getting up like that again.
"Sounds good. I've only had a mouthful all day~" She said, grinning wickedly. She climbed out of bed and headed into the bathroom. "You go ahead, you know where everything is. I'll only be a minute, love." She washed her face, cleaned her teeth and brushed her mane out a little, then headed downstairs to see how Thunder was getting on in the kitchen.
Thunder smiled and the blushed at what she said. He shook his head and clamed down before she left to the bath. "Sure dear." He said, then went downstairs to the kitchen. In the kitchen, he started making food for both of them, using what he found and looked like food he could eat and also her, still, most of the food looked like was the same, so he had an easy time. He then saw Eris as she walked into the kitchen. "What would you like to eat?" he asked as he got out the food and put some plates and glasses of water in the table with his magic.
"I'm not sure; what time is it, do you think?" She asked, looking out the window. The rain had stopped, and it looked like the sun was just about to set on a beautiful day. "Hmm. Something orange, I think." She suggested. She didn't really mind; a lot of things tasted the same to her anyway, hence the lack of variety in her cupboards.
He nodded and started making a soup for them. "I don't know. A bit late I think" he said. He used several ingredients he found, as well as condiments he found. He tried to make it as tasty as posible. He had experience cooking, so he had an idea of what was he doing. Once done, he put the bowl with soup in the table, then looked outside and got an idea. "Hey, why don't we go out and eat outside, watching the sunset." he said smiling. "It would be lovely."
Eris liked the sound of that. "Good idea love," She said, giving him a kiss on the cheek. She put all the stuff on a tray and carried it outside to the balcony, putting it on the little table there. She sat on one of the seats and looked out a the sunset; they were over a river valley, and the pinks and oranges of the sky were being reflected by the water. She smiled at the sight and tasted the soup. "This is really good! Thank you Thunder. Thank you for everything~"
Thunder smiled and nuzzled Eris in her cheek as she kissed his cheek. He then helped her with his magic to carry the things to the balcony. In there, he sat on the other seat and looked to the sunset, smiling. The river, the view...everything. It was way more perfect than he thought. He then turned to her when she tasted the soup. "hehe, thank you~" He said smiling. He then leaned towards her and nuzzled her. "I'm also thankful for everything you have given me." he said smiling before pulling her into a kiss.
Eris closed her eyes and enjoyed the kiss, her tail curling and the sunset getting that bit brighter.
Thunder also closed his as long as he hold the kiss. After a while, he pulled back and noticed the sunset was brighter. He smiled and leaned towards her before using his magic to grab the spoon and eat his soup.
