"I see..." Eris said, twirling her hair around a talon in thought. "My name is Eris, and I rule 'This Place'. So, tell me, do you like what you see, Thunder?"
"Uhmmm..." he looked around. "This place is interesting..." he said, hoping she was not actually talking about herself... he also kind of understood why this place was like this, she was a combination of different animals and creatures. Like this place.
Eris grinned and chuckled. "Interesting? Well that's not the worst thing I've heard it called. Looks like I won't have to turn you into furniture." She looked pointedly at the table. "Is that all you were tasked with Thunder? Investigating? Did they ask you to write a guidebook?"
"They also asked me to stop it if it was harming the ponies or was a possible threat." Yeah, not the brightest of plans considering who he was dealing now. Wait, turning him into furniture, she could do that?!
"Harming ponies? Oh, I would never do that! All the ponies that came in here are fine, most of them are better than when they arrived actually; much more... interesting." She chuckled and started down the path that led away from the portal. "Tell me," She said, floating above Thunder and looking at him upside down. "What exactly were you planning to do if there was a threat, hmm?"
Thunder just followed her as she said all that. He kept looking around and rised an eyebrow as she said that she made it more interesting. "Wait, you transformed them?" He asked, thrn heard the second part. "Well, spraying water or hitting you in the head with a news paper is out of the question..." he said, not laughing at his own joke. He was expecting a pony. Not this creature.
Eris smiled "You can hit me on the head with a newspaper if you want, but it better be last last thing you ever plan to do." They passed a group of chairs gathered around a campfire, and Eris waved at them. "See? They're much happier now; no more shouting or threatening innocent Draconequui with pointy implements!"
Yeah, definitely hitting her with the news paper was out of the question, but it might look funny, so he would save it for later perhaps. He looked to the chairs and herd her. "Wait, why did you transformed them into chairs?" he asked as he followed. "And what is a Draconequui? Is the first time I hear that word." He then said as he stopped beside her.
"Me! I'm a Draconequus!" Eris exclaimed, waving her arms around for emphasis. "The only Draconequus, so far as I know..." She added, a little sadly. "As for them," She looked at the chairs, "You were not the first pony to be sent here. Those three were far less... diplomatic, however; they rather rudely attacked me on sight. I think my response was very reasonable, all things considered." The chairs edged away from Eris in fear.
He turned to her. So, she was a Draconequus. Alright, lets keep that in mind... "So, that is the name of your... specie." he said, then turned to the chairs. Well, it made sense that they were chairs now, she did it in self defense after all. He then looked as they walked away. "Can you bring them back to their true selves? I think this is a reason for them to send more ponies to investigate." he said. He then thought about it. "And it would be better we made sure they never speak about all this, but how..."
Eris looked at the wooden chairs, then at the fire, and then back at the chairs again. She grinned wickedly. "I can think of one way to make sure they never speak again..."
"Th-that is not what I meant!" Thunder said taking a step back. "I was supposed to save also any pony trapped here! Please, let then go!" He said
Eris shrugged. "I don't see why I should. Although... they are pretty boring like they are..." She clicked her talons, and the chairs turned into zebra colts. They blinked, looked around, then ran back towards the portal.
Thunder sighed. "Thank you..." he said as watched them leave trough the portal. "Now, is there anypony else in here?" He asked, looking around.
"Alright, Alright. I was just asking..." Thunder replied sighing. Please, don't start whining. He wouldn't be able to take it. "Alright, now that we dealt with that..." He turned around. "You live here right? Where is your home?" He asked, looking for it.
Thunder looked at her. "Well, I supposed you had a house in here and since I got here I hadn't seen it. So I just asked out of curiosity." He replied. He then thought on something and looked away, blushing a bit. Oh great, why now... and with her... Screw you weird ideas! Screw you!!! It soon faded.
Eris looked at him and frowned. "What? Are you really that upset about it?" She sighed. "I live up there." She said, pointing up at small house floating above them.
He calmed down and turned to her. "Sorry about that. I'm not upset, just... my mind playing with me..." he said sighing, then turned to the house she was pointing. Well, it was small, but surly comfy. "I see." he said looking at it.
