Eris nodded, looking at the titles and sipping her coffee. No history books or arcane journals... but that was okay; she could certainly use some new stories to read, and they could always go back and get more, right? "Good choices, love~" Eris said, kissing Thunder on the cheek and handing him a coffee.
Thunder smiled at the kiss and nuzzled her bose before gabbing the cup of coffee and drinking some. He smiled at the taste of it. It was quite good!
"So are these books you've read before? Or just ones you thought looked interesting?" Eris asked, picking up one of the adventure books and skimming through it.
"I read a pair of them before, other were recomendations and some looked interesting." He admited as he drank his coffee, smiling.
"Well I'm sure they'll be great~" She kissed him on the cheek. "Maybe we can put them in the device I made later?" She suggested. "I really need to come up with a name for that thing..."
Thunder nodded and nuzzled her a bit as she said thar. "Sure dear." He said smiling. He then heard the name part. "Perhaps we can come up with a good name." He said smiling. ------ As that happened, a group of ponies walked to the portal area and found it. They talked to each other before leaving in a hurry.
Thunder couldn't help it but giggle at what she said. "The Thunder box?" He chuckled a bit. "I like it~" he nuzzled her a bit at that.
"Really?" Eris had said it without really thinking, but she supposed it did have a certain ring to it... "The Thunder Box it is then!" She announced, summoning it and labelling it in fancy writing.
Thunder giggled after she did that and kissed her nose before laying back and finishing his coffee. Hehe, silly Eris~
Eris wrinkled her nose and grinned. "So what do you want to do today?" She asked, before leaning close to him. "Master?" She whispered in his ear, giggling.
Thunder blushed deep red as she said that. They were not int bed right now! ----- A bit afar from the gate, a small camp was being set up that was quickly becoming bigger and could soon be seen from the entrance to the portal.
Eris chuckled at the blushes on Thunder's cheeks and licked his ear before leaning back again. "I'm sorry; I'll behave. Really though, got any ideas?" ------- Lone and Courage were not oblivious to the crowds gathering in the distance. They nodded to each other, and Lone ran into the portal to alert Eris, leaving Courage behind to guard the gate.
Thunder shrugged. "How about we put one of the books in the Thunder Box?" He asked smiling before he heard something. It had to be one of her two guards rushing in.
Lone ran into the room, looking concerned. "I'm sorry to disturb you Ma'am, but I think we might have trouble..." He usually knocked, since that one incident, but this was far too urgent. "Lone?" Eris said, looking up in surprise. "What is it?" "I think you'd better come and see for yourself," He said, gravely. "You too Thunder." Eris nodded, and they followed him back to the portal.
Tbunder, not sure what to say, nodded and followed them out. At the entrance, they could see smoke and an orange light fron afar. A big one. Looks like somepony brought unwanted guests. "What the hey..." Thunder said.
"That doesn't look good..." Eris said, a little worried, "You wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you Thunder?" Lone asked, advancing on him menacingly with Courage. "Hey!" Eris snapped, angrily. "He is above suspicion, understand? Thunder would never betray me." Lone and Courage looked at her, then backed off, tails between their legs. "Apologies, Mistress." They muttered. She turned her attention back to the light. "Thunder, you are more familiar with the ways of ponies; what do you think is going on?" She asked, looking at him.
Thunder frowned to what Lone said, but the turned to Eris. "Looks like they want to 'deal' with us." Thunder limited himself to say as he turned to the light. From affar, they could also see a shiny object heading their waym becoming bigger and bigger as it aproached. It looked like a chariot of sone sort... Princess Celestia and Luna!
Lone and Courage lowered their ears and growled at the coming chariot, but Eris motioned them to wait; If they were trying to attack, surely they'd send more than one or two ponies? This had to be a parley of some sort...
Thunder frowned after seeing them coming to them. Soon, the chariot arrived. Several armored pegasus were pulling it, as two alicorns got off. Princess Celestia and Luna. Clestia looked at Eris and frowned before turning to Thunder. "Thunder, honey, come back." She said softly. Thunder gave a step back. "Sorry princess, but the answer is no." He said. Luna frowned and turned to Eris as Tia said thay. "As one of the Princess of all Equestria, we demand that thou let Thunder free and close the portal, inmediatly. Or face the consecuences." She said after a moment.
