"O-oh yeah, of course," Eris said, shakily. She focused on the ponies in the distance and clicked her talons. The magic bolts stopped, and they could hear cries of terror and dismay in the distance.
Thunder chuckled a bit at that, and the battle turned on their favor. Soon, the were victorious yet again. "We did it!" He said smiling as he hugged Eris
"For good this time?" Eris asked warily, still looking a little scared. She liked chaos, but the chaos of battle... it was different somehow, uglier.
"Thunder looked at her." To what we did, perhaps for today..." he had to admit, still, they made a strong hit on their moral, so that would also make the future battles a bit easier. "For now, lets see if they try anything else." he said.
After a while, the sounds of the moaning ponies faded into the distance, and Lone and Courage returned. "It would seem they have returned to their camp." Lone informed them. "Do you wish for us to pursue them?"
Thunder shook his head. "No, let them." he said. "Is too dangerous to go." he said. "Celestia and Luna are more powerful than you think." he had to admit. "I just hope that is all for today." he said sighing
"Can we... Can we go home now, do you think?" Eris asked Thunder. She wanted to be back safely in her house with Thunder, away from all these ponies and their strange desire to fight her. She was sure Lone and Courage could handle the portal now that it was reinforced like it was, and if not, they'd just have to come get her again.
Thunder looked at her and nodded. "Sure." He turned to Lone and Courage. "Guard the portal please, If something happens, call me." he said smiling before he lead Eris back to their home
The dragons nodded. "Thunder," Said Lone, "I am sorry, I misjudged you. It was an honour fighting by your side." "Aw," Eris smirked, cheering up a bit as she headed though the portal with Thunder, "He likes you," She was far happier again when they were finally back at the house, almost back to her normal self, but not quite.
Thunder smiled and nodded to Lone before taking her beloved Eris back home. He smiled after seeing Eris back to her cheerful self and nuzzled her a bit. "I'm happy to hear that." he said smiling as they arrived to their home.
Eris smiled faintly, and then went to sit on the sofa. She snuggled back into the cushions, staring into space. This whole ordeal had upset her more than she realised; all those ponies, hundreds if not thousands of them, all trying to attack her. And for what? What was it she'd actually done to them?
Thunder walked to her side and got into the sofa with her, gently snuggling her as he got himself between her arms. He then put his face against her neck, gently nuzzling it a bit.
Eris began to cry softly as he nuzzled her, and she hugged him close. He was still in his armour, but she didn't really care; she was just glad to be with him.
Thunder nuzzled her and kissed her nose. "This is what war is..."Thunder said with a sad smile. "I know it is hard. You... never get used to it..." he said, looking to a side, then back to her. "But I promise, this will be the first and last we will ever have." He said as he gently took off his armor and let it on the floor.
Eris didn't say anything, she just sniffed and held him a little closer. She hoped he was right; she didn't want to have to do that again. Why couldn't these ponies just leave them alone!?
Thunder snuggled her, his face looking directly to hers. He smiled and soon got lost in her eyes. "Don't cry honey~" he said as he toom off a tear with his hoof. "I know it is hard. But don't cry. Do it for me." He said.
Eris looked at him for a moment and then nodded. He was so much braver than she was... "You saved us, Thunder," She said, quietly. "Without you, we would've been overrun..." It shamed her that she wasn't strong enough to defend her home on her own, but she was incredibly thankful to have Thunder to help her. She new somehow that together, they would be able to survive whatever Celestia threw at them. "I love you," She said, resting her head on his shoulder and hiding her face in his glossy black mane.
(Oh yeah, I made the CS of Thunder ) Thunder smiled and nuzzled her a bit. "I love you too my love~" he replied he hugged her as she hid her face in his mane. He gently stroked hers, smiling.
(Yeah I saw; looks good :3 Now we just have to think up someway to involve him in the Glass House... ) Eris was comforted by his presence, but still a bit upset, and, as she suddenly realised, very tired. "I'm going to take a nap," She said, quietly in his ear. "Could you... could you just hold me whilst I sleep? Just for a while..."
(Yeah. Have to think on that... wait... perhaps... we can make them visit thr area horsebay would be one day! In a date or something!) Thunder looked at her as she said that and nodded. "Sure love. I will do it for you." He said smiling as he followed her to their room.
