Eris smiled and turned to fly home, wondering if there was some way she could convince Thunder to cook tonight...
Thunder flew with her and they soon arrived home. His belly growled a bit after a moment, then giggled a bit.
"Is somepony hungry?" Eris asked, with a grin, poking Thunder's tummy playfully. She guessed it was understandable; he had expended a lot of energy today...
Thunder wiggled a bit as she poked his belly, then giggled a bit and nodded. "Yeah, I am." he said smiling to her. "Will you make dinner or shall I do it?" he then asked
He smiled to her as she suggested that idea. "I would love to. Lets make whatever you want to eat, if not, I will think on something." he said smiling.
"Well, what do you like to eat?" She asked. She'd been eating the same meals for hundreds of years; fresh ideas would be welcome.
"How about a good salad? I like them, more if they are made with apples." He said smiling to her. He really loved apples almost as much as he loved Eris. Almost.
"Apples?" Eris nodded, thoughtfully; unusual... but that was good! "Sure, we can do that," She said, conjuring up a bucket of apples.
"Yay!" He said happily as he grabbed one and started eating it happily. He then put the rest on the table to start making the salad
Eris smiled at his enthusiasm, storing that little piece of information for later use. "What should I do?" She asked, deferring to his superior apple-salad-making knowledge.
He smiled. "First, cut the apples in slices while I get ready the rest." he said smiling as he got some bowls to make the salad.
"Yes chef!" Eris said, giggling. She sliced the apples, first on a chopping board, and once that got boring, in the air. Soon she had a small mountain of apple slices on on the kitchen table.
As sh finished, Thunder had got out some vegetables as well as other fruits and had sliced them with his magic, then put the apples and everything else in the bowl and started mixing. After a while, he put it on a plate and smiled as he put some cream on them. Spoiler: Something like this
Eris smiled and kissed his cheek; it looked good, and even better, she hadn't eaten it before! "It looks great, love~" She said, happily.
He blushed a bit. "Thank you honey." he said smiling as he nuzzled her, then put it on the table an sat on his throne as he waited for Eris to eat what he did
Eris chuckled a bit at the sight of Thunder sitting on the throne, then sat on hers and tucked into the salad. "Mmm! It's good!" She said, between bites. She would never have thought of this!
Thunder smiled to her as she sat on hers, then kept eating. He then giggled at what she said "Thank you dear." he said smiling
After a while, Eris finished hers, and sat back in her throne, happily waiting for Thunder to finish his, giggling at how much he was enjoying the apples.
Thunder had served himself a second plate of the salad after he finished. After a short while, he smiled and looked at her. "I'm glad you liked it." he said smiling to her.
