"Oh, taking me seriously would be a mistake," Eris said, grinning. "I'm just trying to have a good time. So... are you going to try and leave now?" She asked, somewhat mischievously.
"Try to leave? Do you want me to leave right now?" Thunder asked chuckling a bit. "And what do you mean by having a good time?" he then asked.
"Well if you try to leave, that could be fun," Eris said with a wicked grin, "Well, fun for me anyway, I'm not sure you'd like it much though."
"Oh you can leave, but once you do, no-one outside of this place will understand you. To them, you'll be talking gibberish. It's a kind of safety protocol I came up with, and it has the added bonus of making your world that bit more interesting." She chuckled gleefully at her own ingenuity.
Great, so if he left, nopony would understand what he says. "Sooo... it looks like I'm confined in here with you..." he said, not wanting that to happen.
Thunder sighed. "No, no..." he said. "Sorry 'bout that. Is just that I won't be able to go back in a while..." he said sighing. He laid back and turned to her. "So, what do you usually do in here?" he then asked.
"Whatever I feel like doing!" She said, grinning broadly. "It's my realm. I can make a mountain out of ice cream, then ski down it, I can surf a wave of chocolate milk, I can play hide and seek with the trees in the hills." She sighed and her smile faded a little. "I can do anything, as long as it only requires one person."
He shrugged. "Well, how about things for two?" he asked making a small smile. Well, if he was going to stay there, better make it worth it.
She looked at him, carefully. "Are you saying you want to do stuff together? Why? I thought you wanted to leave?"
Thunder shrugged. "Well, if I live I won't be able to talk..." He turned to her. "You also look a bit... lonely in here. You are alone after all." he kept looking at her.
"I- I suppose I might be." She held two of her talons up, close together. "Tiny bit." She looked away and blushed.
He turned to her. "Well, lets do something. I'm starting to get a bit bored, Unless you want to talk a bit longer." he said shrugging.
Eris disappeared in a flash, then a few moments later reappeared again. "Sorry, I forgot," She said, with an apologetic smile. She grabbed Thunder's hoof, and this time they both disappeared, reappearing next to a giant lake. There were mountains around them, but they were all wavy and out of focus, like they were a reflection on the water. In their actual reflection in the lake however, they looked crisp and clear, like regular mountains. The ducks were on top of the mountains in the lake, but as they noticed Eris, they broke through the water's surface, and waddled up onto the shore towards her.
Thunder blinked as soon as Eris teleported away, then looked to her as she came back and grabbed his hoof to teleport him also. Well, this was quite different to the teleport spell he knew. When they arrived he looked to the lake, then the mountains. Wow. He then saw the ducks as they broke trough the water's surface and went with her so they could be fed. This place was just silly but interesting!
