"Hmm... not much I don't think," She said, draping an arm over his shoulder as they walked, "I'm still pretty full from that delicious lunch of yours! Maybe cheese and crackers?" She smiled slyly, "Possibly even a slice or two of apple~?"
"What are crackers?" Thunder asked until he heard the apple part. "There are still apples left from lunch. We can eat them." he said smiling as he lead her to the kitchen.
"Crackers are like biscuits, but savoury," Eris explained, conjuring up a plateful of crackers and cheese as Thunder got the apples. She was sort of surprised there were any left, knowing Thunder's love for them.
Thunder smiled and left the apples in the table as he looked at the crackers. Well, that was interesting. He had never saw them before (There is a new xcom game )
Eris smiled at Thunder's interest in the crackers. She carefully cut a piece of cheese and a slice of apple, stacked them both on top of one of the crackers, then held it out for Thunder. "Try it~" She said, softly. (Weren't there two new xcom games a little while back?)
(those were for mobile. This is xcom 2 Look for it on steam) Thunder nodded and grabbed it with his hoof, then ate it. "It is quite good!" he said smiling to her.
"I knew you'd like it~" Eris giggled, making one for herself. (I don't really use Steam; more of an Xbox guy... )
(Sadly, it will be a pc exclusive. Still, here is a vid of the reveal trailer ) Thunder smiled and started making some more for himself
Eris started making another, then came up with an idea. "Do you want to go eat in the sitting room? We could stick another book in the Thunder Box..." She suggested, smiling. (Ah, too bad. My laptop can barely handle minesweeper x3)
(mine can handle xcom 1 in low graphics but it looks really awesome) Thunder looked at her after thinking for a moment. "Sure, lets go" he said smiling to Eris as he took the stuff to the living room with his magic
Eris bent over to remove the adventure book from the Thunder Box, and started looking though the small pile of books next to it for something suitable. She looked back over her shoulder at Thunder. "What kind of book are you in the mood for?"
Thunder sat of the sofa as she looked for a book. "Which ever you want to see dear." he said smiling to her as he made some more food with the crackers.
"Hmm..." Eris decided to pick a short story by one of her favourite horror authors; a tale about a fallen star that corrupted the land and made ponies act in strange ways... She loaded it into the box and snuggled up next to Thunder, helping herself to an apple.
Thunder snuggled her back as he waited for the book to start. He laid on top of her again, his head in her chest, then nuzzled her a bit in her neck.
Eris cuddled Thunder with one arm, and continued to eat the apple with the other. The Thunder Box threw up a dark and misty scene; a lone pony walking towards a barren and blasted-looking land, and a foreboding, creaky, old house...
Thunder started watchin the scene aa he hugged Eris. He noticed this was more of an horror one, so he braced himself for the worst. He wasn't that good with horror.
The book wasn't a gory one, nor was it full of jump-scares; rather it slowly built up an atmosphere of dread and uncertainty, the main character uncovering strange and troubling things he couldn't explain... Eris finished her apple and wrapped both arms around Thunder as they watched.
Great, psychological horror. He cuddled her a bit more as he felt the tension being slowly built. He nuzzled her paw a bit before continuing watching it
The pony in the book had decided his investigation was going nowhere, and was trying to leave, but he didn't seem able to find his way back home; all the paths he'd come down seemed to have changed, but it was uncertain whether it was just his mind playing tricks on him, or something... else... Eris smiled, feeling Thunder's warm breath on her paw as he nuzzled it. She snuggled a bit more into the sofa, and curled her tail round on top of him.
Thunder smiled after feeling her tail curl on top of him. He kissed her paw before turning back to the pony.
