Thunder smiled after she said only four legs. He noticed where she was looking and nodded as he focused on the tree. His horn glowed and the first 3 attempts were almost like the otherone, but the fourth ine made quite the inprovement.
"Ah, it would seem in your case, repetition is the key to success," Eris said, leaning down to inspect the copy; it was almost identical to the original, only a few branches at slightly different angles. Very close... "This is very good, Mr. Shield, but it is not quite there yet. Unfortunately, we cannot progress until you have reached perfection." placed her paw on his shoulder. "I am afraid this will take a lot more practice, so I shall set this assignment as homework; perfect the tree, make certain it is perfect every time, and then, we shall move on to the delicate and dangerous task of self-duplication."
Thunder looked at her and nodded. He knew this wouldn't be that easy. "Alright Miss." He said, then stood up. He then pushed her against the desk and made sure she wasn't hit. He then started kissing her in her neck as he got ready to play with her Mistress
Eris gasped with pleasure as he kissed her neck, and then laid back on the desk, pulling him on top of her as her legs and tail dangled over the edge.
"You did a really good job Thunder, I'm impressed." Eris said, cleaning the desk with her magic. "Duplication magic is one of the most difficult magical schools, and you all-but mastered it in an afternoon." She finished cleaning, then lead Thunder to the sitting room, to snuggle on the sofa. She felt exhausted, and was sure that he must too; not just from their... activities, but also from the magical energy he had expended. "I meant what I said though; you have to get that tree perfect before we can go any further; I won't risk you coming to any harm." She flopped onto the sofa and waited for him to join her.
Thundet smiled and helped Eris clean. Once done, he followed her. He got into the sofa with her and snuggled her happily. "Thank you dear. I will work on the spell as you say." He said as he snuggled her, fitting perfectly between her arms.
Eris giggled. "That was really fun! Just work on it when you can, but I'd like to be Miss Eris again sometime soon." She sighed and laid back further into the sofa, resting her head on a pillow, and holding Thunder close in her arms. "I still wish you'd chosen punishment though~" She said, quietly, yawning a bit. She closed her eyes and started to doze off.
Thunder smiled and laid his head on her chest. "I will do it next time~' he said smiling as he closed his eyes and fell asleep with her.
Eris awoke a few hours later, and realised she'd drooled on Thunder's mane in her sleep. She looked about frantically, then grabbed a pillow to try and clean it up.
Thunder actually never noticed that. He was still sleeping, gently cuddling her in his sleep as hebused her aa his pillow.
Relieved to have saved the situation with her swift pillow work, Eris kissed Thunder softly on the cheek, seeking to wake him from his slumber; he looked so peaceful sleeping in her arms, but it wasn't time for bed yet, and she didn't want him up all night...
Thinder felt her kiss and smiled. He snuggled her a bit and woke up. He smiled to her and kissed her nose. "Hey~" he said happily
"Hullo, sleepy~" Eris replied, scrunching her nose and then nuzzling his cheek. "I thought we could have some coffee and biscuits, and maybe you could practice your duplication magic a bit."
Thunder smiled. "Sure dear. We can do that." He said smiling to her as he got off her and sat on the sofa
Eris sat up and conjured a cup of coffee and a small plate of biscuits on the coffee table. "Okay, let's start simple, make sure you remember the basics," She said, looking at Thunder. "Try and duplicate the coffee. You might need to taste it first." She hinted.
Thunder nodded and took a sip out of the coffee. He smiled at it. "It is really good." He said smiling before he tried to duplicate it. He managed to do it almost perfect . Still, it was.not as hot as the original one.
Eris took the duplicate coffee for herself. "This is very good, love~" She said, sipping it and smiling. "Like I said; it's just going to take some practice to get it perfect. Why don't you try the tree again? I'll be right here if you need any help." She summoned the miniature tree again and smiled, before sitting a bit further back on the sofa and curling up to read a book.
Thunder nodded and nuzzled her cheek before he took the tree and went to the sofa to prctice with it.
By the time Eris looked up from her book, Thunder had covered the table with tiny trees. She smiled and chuckled a bit at that. "Well at least now you know how to make a forest from a single tree," She joked, kissing his cheek.
