Thunder smiled and after a moment also fell asleep. ---- Tia nodded. "Something like that. There isba certain.... creature that is now in possesion of one of my knights. I want you to get rid of her." She explaibed as she gave the zebra a map with the location of her target.
The zebra looked at the map, and then nodded. "I do not work for free; I assume you have something for me?"
The zebra raised an eyebrow slightly. "She must indeed be dangerous prey, to warrent such a level of pay." She thought for a fraction of a second, before nodding her acceptance. "This creature only you want removed? If I see your knight, am I to stay my hooves?"
"Understood; he will feel the pain," The zebra replied, without batting an eyelid, "Does my target have a name?"
"Eris." Celestia said calmly as she walked to her throne. "The knight is Thunder shield." She added as she sat down on it.
The zebra nodded once more, and left the hall. It would take her a few days to travel to the location Celestia had marked on her map, and a few more to observe her target and find a weakness, but once she was given their name, none of her targets had ever lived longer than a week. As she left the castle, she pulled up the hood on her cloak, readjusted her saddle bags a little, and began her long walk North... -----
The next morning, Thunder woke up below Eris, having her resting on his chest as he cuddled her. He smiled and gently stroked her mane as he waited for her to wake up.
Eris muttered something that sounded like 'Mr. Sheild' and smiled in her sleep, snuggling into Thunder's chest and holding him a little tighter.
Eris tried to roll over, but couldn't due to Thunder's hooves; she frowned and wiggled about a bit instead, then yawned and stretched in her sleep.
Thunder hold her close as she wiggled for freedome and smiled. His hoof went down to her rump to gently rub it with hoof as he watched her sleep.
Eris stopped wiggling and smiled, moaning softly as she felt his hoof. She bit her lip and nuzzled his chest slowly, her eyes still closed.
Thunder smiled at the nuzzled and gave a playfull smack to her rump as she slept. He was sure this might wake her up, but he couldn't resist.
Eris gasped and opened her eyes. She lifted her head and focused on Thunder's face, her mane all mussed up and covering one of her eyes. "Thunder," She purred in a low, slightly menacing tone, "Did you just slap my rump~?"
Thunder smiled and blushed a bit. "Uhmmm... I did..." he said a bit shy but making a small grin. "You... liked it?" he asked.
"I just hope for your sake you plan to finish what you started~" Eris replied in the same, low tone, looking at him from under half-closed eyelids.
