Eris teleported the back to the house, and then stepped outside onto the balcony to spy on the town through her telescope. She gasped excitedly as she saw the zebra heading to the library. "She reads too!?" She grinned at Thunder. "She's incredibly respectful, she talks in rhymes, and she likes books!"
Thunder giggled at that. "I also do that." He said smiling. "All of that, except the rhyming all the time part." He said smiling as he hugged hrr from behind and kissed her cheek. "Still, I can do way more with you."
Eris smiled and nuzzled him. "I know sweetie; you know I love you, and all the things you do." She turned around in his hooves and gave him a long kiss. "It's just nice to think there are others we might be able to spend time with, without having to disguise ourselves."
Thunder hugged her and melted into the kiss as long as it lasted. "Yeah, it is good." He said smiling as he gently caresed her mane.
Eris smiled, happy that he felt the same way. She wrapped her arms around him and held him close as he played with her mane. "So, what do you want to do now?" She asked. She was happy to do whatever he wanted, as long as they were together.
"Lets go and see the Thunder box~" he suggested to Eris as he snuggled her and nuzzled her neck a bit
Eris kissed his ear, softly. "I would like that," She said, happily. "Why don't you pick out a book, and I'll make us some popcorn~" She gave him a final kiss on the cheek, then let him go, and headed into the kitchen.
Thunder smiled and nodded and went for the books and picked one. He smiled at it, he had already read it and was new, so Eris hadn't seen it.
Eris had made the bowl of popcorn, and bought it into the sitting room while Thunder was loading the book into the Thunder Box. "So, what have you chosen for us today?" She asked, flopping down on the sofa.
"It is another detectives book, but one I already read and bought on the crystal empire." He said smiling, still, the book had it own surprises, and he was waiting for them
"Sounds good! Hope there's a decent villain in it though..." Eris said, grinning evilly and waiting for Thunder to join her on the sofa.
Thunder smiled and got into the sofa with Eris. he smiled and gently snuggled her. The book started as almost any other detective books, a case and stuff with the pony looking around, but after a few minutes, everything went to hell. The case went horribly wrong and now the pony was fired. Pretty rough for just the intro.
Eris watched closely, happy to be watching something she hadn't read before, and interested to see what would happen next; it seemed a little different from most of the detective books she had read... She had her arm around Thunder as she watched, and still occasionally looked away from the pictures to give him a nuzzle or a quick kiss on the cheek.
The story carried overa bit dark, seeing the pony having hard choices and going to really dangerous places. Thunder smiled and snuggled Eris and kissed her back when she did, nuzzling her every now and then.
Eris kept watching, frowning a bit in sympathy for the detective pony, and pulling Thunder a little closer to her.
After a while, the book carried on into a more 'personal' scene between the pony and a pegasus he fell in love with. Thunder had forgoten that part. His wings puffed after it started, seeing it (in a more literal way) like this.
Eris chuckled and stroked his wings. "Oh... now I see why you wanted us to watch this one~" She said, and kissed his ear.
Eris tilted her head as she watched the ponies, still stroking Thunder's soft wings, "Well he may be a good detective, but I think you could show him a thing or two in this department..." She commented, her head bobbing up and down with the motion as she watched them.
Thunder nuzzled her a bit and smiled. "Heh, thank you~' he said, kissing her nose as he kept looking. He loved how eris was stroking his wings, it fell really nice
